Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
AKVIS Noise Buster AI is desktop software and a photo-editor plug-in for reducing luminance, color and compression noise in digital or scanned images. Its trained neural networks work alongside manual controls, making it suitable for photographers and image editors who need local processing, RAW support and repeatable noise-reduction workflows. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, either as a standalone application or inside compatible editors.
Pricing is based on lifetime, one-time licenses. Home Plugin costs $49 and includes the plug-in version with basic functionality for personal use. Home Standalone is also $49 and provides the standalone version with basic functionality for personal use. Home Deluxe costs $55 and combines plug-in and standalone versions with full functionality for personal use. Business costs $89, includes both modes and full functionality, and allows commercial use. A 10-day fully functional trial is available, while prices exclude VAT and local taxes.
The feature set extends beyond automatic denoising: RAW image support, batch processing of image series, presets, quick preview, before-and-after comparison, edge-intensity and sharpness adjustments, History Brush, Smudge and Smart Blur tools are all included in the published description. Plug-in compatibility covers Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, AliveColors, Corel PaintShop Pro and Corel Photo-Paint. Choose Noise Buster AI if you want an affordable desktop tool with both editor integration and standalone operation. Consider another option if you require cloud deployment, mobile apps or round-the-clock support rather than desktop software supported through email and documentation.
