AKVIS Enhancer is desktop image-enhancement software for photographers, designers, and other users working with underexposed, overexposed, or unevenly exposed images. It is available as a standalone application or plugin and focuses on improving detail, exposure, tone, brightness, contrast, gamma, and saturation. The software runs on Windows, macOS, and 64-bit Linux, supports RAW files, and can process multiple images with shared settings.

Pricing is based on lifetime, one-time licenses rather than a recurring subscription. Home Plugin costs $69 and includes the plugin version, basic functionality, and personal use. Home Standalone also costs $69 and includes the standalone version, basic functionality, and personal use. Home Deluxe costs $99 for both plugin and standalone editions with full functionality for personal use. Business costs $170 and adds commercial use to the plugin and standalone editions with full functionality. A 10-day free trial is available, and licenses include one year of free updates. Prices exclude VAT or local taxes and may be converted to other currencies at checkout.

The feature set is suited to image correction workflows that need more than a single adjustment. Improve Detail mode targets detail in shadows and highlights, Prepress mode prepares images for print or online publishing, and Tone Correction handles brightness, color, and tonal adjustments. The standalone edition adds post-processing controls, while preset saving supports frequently used settings. Integrations with Adobe Photoshop, Corel PaintShop Pro, and AliveColors make the product a fit for established editing workflows. Choose it if you want a focused desktop tool with batch and RAW support and a one-time license; choose an alternative if you need a free plan, subscription flexibility, or broader editing functionality.
