Akaro is a browser-based project workspace for architects, interior designers, consultants, and clients reviewing 3D work. Its desktop web viewer supports GLB and GLTF models, with controls for orbiting, hiding objects, selecting elements, measuring height, width, depth, distance, and area, and capturing screenshots with markup. Alongside the viewer, Akaro includes a collaborative 2D canvas, files, tasks, chat, calls, comments, presence, and project permissions.
Pricing is project-based rather than per user. The Free plan includes one free project per organization, up to three users, one 3D model, and 3 GB of storage. It also includes the shared canvas, 3D viewer, chat, calls, and tasks. The Paid Project plan costs INR 999 as a one-time payment and provides lifetime ownership of one project, up to 10 users, up to three 3D models, 25 GB of storage, model downloads, a dashboard, and role-based access. Paid and free workflows can use model version history, saved camera views, task pins, and project access levels including Edit, View, and Blocked.
The main fit is for small teams that want model review and project discussion in one web workspace. Measurements, object visibility controls, markup screenshots, and geometry-anchored task pins support focused review, while chat, calls, comments, and presence keep collaboration connected to the project. The important boundary is file and device support: the 3D viewer handles only GLB and GLTF files, and phones provide a companion experience for chat, calls, recordings, and files rather than loading 3D models. Choose Akaro when those formats and a desktop-browser workflow match your projects; choose an alternative when broader file compatibility or mobile 3D viewing is required.
