ACR Phone review
A customizable Android dialer with VoIP and flexible call-data backups.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
ACR Phone replaces the default Android dialer with call and contact management, spam blocking, dual-SIM dialing and an integrated SIP client for internet calls. It is aimed at Android users who want more control over their calling setup, including solo users and small businesses. Call notes, reminders and customizable contact screens extend it beyond basic dialing, while visual voicemail is available where the carrier supports it.
Its standout strength is the breadth of calling and data options in one Android app. Users can maintain an offline blocklist and optionally use an online spam database, select an account for dual-SIM calls, and make VoIP calls through SIP services. Call logs, contacts and blocklists can be backed up or exported through Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, FTP/FTPS, SFTP, WebDAV and WebHook. OpenAI Whisper is also listed among integrations. Call recording is limited to supported devices and may require helper software; voicemail depends on the carrier. Enhanced Caller ID, when enabled, involves uploading contacts.
The freemium structure offers a Basic without adverts option with some premium features potentially limited, and a Premium with adverts option that may include premium features while showing adverts. An annual subscription provides all premium features and renews automatically until cancelled; Lifetime is a one-time payment valid for the life of the app. The vendor shows premium prices in-app rather than on its website. Choose ACR Phone if SIP, backups and dialer customization matter; consider another dialer if you need call recording or voicemail independent of device and carrier support, or prefer a simpler setup.
