1stFlip is desktop software for Windows and macOS that converts PDFs and images into HTML5 flipbooks. It is suited to publishers, marketers, educators, and businesses creating magazines, brochures, catalogs, ebooks, and other page-turning publications. Flipbooks can be viewed responsively on desktop and mobile devices, shared through links and embeds, or published to a website. The software also supports password protection, private access settings, and custom branding.
Pricing is organized around Standard and Pro editions, each with annual and lifetime options. Standard costs $69 per year or $99 as a one-time lifetime purchase. It includes PDF and image conversion, HTML5 output, and online upload and sharing; the lifetime edition also includes HTML, ZIP, app, and EXE output plus lifetime free updates. Pro costs $189 per year or $299 as a one-time lifetime purchase. It adds a rich-media page editor, batch PDF conversion, Google Analytics integration, and, in the lifetime plan, video, audio, image, chart, and button embeds. A 30-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
Its publishing ecosystem covers 1stFlip Cloud, customer websites through FTP, and embeds for websites and blogs. Integrations include Google Analytics, YouTube, Vimeo, WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal. Users can add text, images, GIFs, audio, video, charts, buttons, and hyperlinks, making the Pro editions a fit for interactive publications rather than simple document viewing. Choose 1stFlip if you want desktop-based creation, multiple export formats, and the option to avoid recurring payments with lifetime licensing. It is less suitable for teams that require browser-based authoring or a free publishing tier.
