1001 Photo Restore is a web-based AI service for restoring old and damaged photographs. It is suited to people digitizing family archives, restoring black-and-white images, or processing multiple damaged photos without a recurring subscription. Its restoration tools address scratches, creases, dust, stains, mould spotting, cracked emulsion, and tape marks while preserving the surviving image. It also provides colorization, resolution and detail enhancement, before-and-after comparison, and full-resolution downloads.

Pricing uses one-time credit packages. Starter costs $3.66 for 10 photos, or 37¢ per photo. Family costs $9.66 for 50 photos, or 19¢ per photo. Pro costs $19.99 for 200 photos, or 10¢ per photo. Agency costs $79.99 for 1,001 photos, or 8¢ per photo. The service has no free plan, but failed operations do not consume credits. Uploads and results are automatically deleted after 24 hours, which suits short restoration projects but gives users a limited window to retain results.

The product runs in a browser and supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC files. Batch processing allows up to 50 photos per upload, while the published plans provide larger overall photo allowances. The vendor describes a 32-megapixel processing limit. 1001 Photo Restore is a strong fit for affordable, one-time restoration work and larger personal or agency batches. It is less suitable for users who need a desktop workflow, face enhancement, or a broader editing environment. Those requirements point toward a different photo restoration tool.
