1 Second Everyday is a mobile video-diary and editing app for capturing short daily clips, photos, and videos, then combining them into chronological movies. It fits people documenting everyday life, travel, family milestones, and long-term memories rather than creators seeking a broad post-production suite. Journal projects organize entries by date, while Freestyle projects let users reorder clips for more flexible edits. Daily reminders and automatic mashups from selected periods support an ongoing recording habit.

The plan structure keeps the core idea accessible. The Free plan includes one-second recording and one Journal project, without cloud backup. Pro expands snippets to up to 10 seconds and adds unlimited projects, cloud backup, 4K video quality, a music editor, and collaboration. Pro Lifetime includes all Pro features without a subscription. The vendor’s Pro page advertises a one-week free trial. Across the app, users can also adjust clip brightness and exposure, add music and audio edits, and restore projects through cloud backup. Pro 4K export is available on iOS.

The main trade-off is focus. 1 Second Everyday is well suited to personal video journals and short, memory-oriented projects, but its scope is narrower than a general video editor. It runs on iOS and Android, with cloud and mobile deployment, and the vendor says desktop and browser versions are not currently available. Collaboration supports projects for up to six people, making it practical for shared family or group memories, while email and documentation provide support channels. Choose it for a simple daily capture ritual and date-based storytelling; choose another editor if you need desktop production, browser access, broader integrations, or more extensive editing workflows.
