The POCO M7 4G has the stronger published display, battery-capacity and charging specifications; the Redmi 14C 4G lists a higher-resolution selfie camera. Both list a 50MP main rear camera, but those numbers alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use. There is no single reliable price difference without a country, seller, stock status and matching memory configuration.

Which phone has the better display?

On stated specifications, the POCO M7 has the advantage: its 6.9-inch screen is FHD+ at 2340 × 1080 and supports refresh rates up to 144Hz. The Redmi 14C’s nearly as large 6.88-inch screen is HD+ at 1640 × 720 and reaches up to 120Hz. The POCO therefore offers more stated pixels and a higher refresh-rate ceiling.

A higher maximum refresh rate does not mean the screen runs at that rate all the time, and specifications do not establish brightness, color accuracy or viewing quality. If screen detail and smooth scrolling matter most, the POCO’s listed panel resolution and refresh ceiling make it the stronger paper choice.

Battery capacity and charging

POCO lists a 7000mAh typical battery and 33W wired charging for the M7; Xiaomi lists 5160mAh typical and 18W charging for the Redmi 14C. The M7 has the larger published capacity and higher charging wattage. Neither figure alone proves how long a phone will last or how quickly it will charge: usage, software, network conditions and charging behavior affect those outcomes.

POCO advertises up to 28 hours of video playback and Xiaomi’s global Redmi 14C page advertises up to 22 hours. These are manufacturer claims, and the available information does not establish that the phones were measured using a matched test method. They should not be treated as a direct battery-life comparison. POCO M7 product page · Redmi 14C global product page

Camera specifications: similar main-camera resolution

Both phones list a 50MP, f/1.8 main rear camera. The Redmi 14C lists a 13MP, f/2.0 front camera, while the POCO M7 lists an 8MP, f/2 front camera. That gives the Redmi a higher stated selfie-camera resolution, but megapixels alone do not determine image quality. The specifications do not establish which phone produces better photos.

Price difference: compare the same market and configuration

A universal price gap cannot be calculated from these specifications. Prices change by country, seller, promotion, stock and RAM/storage tier. A third-party comparison page has surfaced India marketplace listings, including a Redmi 14C listing marked out of stock in one result; that is not a stable current price or a global launch-price record. 91mobiles comparison

For a useful local comparison, check the phones at the same time and record the country, currency, seller, stock status and exact memory/storage variant. The POCO’s listed 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options have regional availability caveats, while Redmi configurations also vary by market. Comparing different capacities can make a price gap misleading.

Practical differences beyond the headline specifications

4G and 5G model names

This comparison is between the POCO M7 4G and Redmi 14C 4G. Separate 5G products or variants exist under these model names in some markets. Confirm the exact model on a retailer’s listing and check its local network bands before buying; do not assume that a listing for a similarly named 5G model has the specifications shown here.

Adapter and package contents

The POCO global page says no power adapter is included and recommends a suitable 33W PD-compatible or official Xiaomi adapter. Xiaomi’s UK Redmi 14C page also says the adapter is not included and recommends an 18W PD-compatible adapter. Package contents can vary by region, so verify the box contents for the precise local listing before budgeting for an adapter. POCO package and charging details · Redmi package and charging details

Water and dust protection

POCO describes the M7 as IP64-rated under laboratory conditions and cautions that protection is not permanent; the rating does not make the phone safe to immerse. The cited Redmi UK specifications do not establish an equivalent rating, so the two should not be presented as having matching protection.

MicroSD expansion

POCO lists support for a microSD card up to 2TB, sold separately, with a hybrid SIM/microSD tray. Confirm the tray arrangement on the local model if you need two SIMs and expandable storage at the same time. The cited Redmi UK excerpt does not establish an equivalent capacity, so check the exact Redmi SKU before relying on expansion.

Which one should you choose?

  • Choose the POCO M7 if its local price works for you and you prioritize the higher stated screen resolution, faster maximum refresh rate, larger typical battery capacity or higher charging wattage.
  • Consider the Redmi 14C if its local price is substantially lower for a comparable configuration, or its listed 13MP front camera better fits your priorities.
  • Before deciding, verify that both listings are the 4G models, compare matching RAM/storage tiers, and check local stock, network-band compatibility and box contents.

The available specifications do not settle processor performance or comparative photo quality: the cited Redmi UK excerpt does not identify an exact chipset, and camera megapixels are not a quality test.
