The POCO F6 has the larger display, while the vivo X300 FE adds a dedicated telephoto camera and lists newer hardware, IP68/IP69 ratings, and a 6,500mAh typical battery on its India specification page. The price comparison is less straightforward: vivo’s India store lists the X300 FE at ₹84,999 for 8GB + 256GB, but the available POCO F6 price snapshots are third-party listings, one marked out of stock. They do not establish a reliable current price gap.

What the spec differences mean in everyday use

Choose the POCO F6 if you want a larger display

At 6.67 inches, the POCO F6 offers a larger listed screen than the X300 FE’s 6.31-inch panel. That can matter for reading, video, and games, though the specifications alone do not establish which display looks better or how either phone performs in a particular app.

Consider the vivo X300 FE for its telephoto camera

The X300 FE’s listed rear camera system includes a dedicated 50MP telephoto module alongside its main and ultra-wide cameras. The POCO F6 specification page lists a 50MP main and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. This is a difference in camera hardware on paper, not proof of better image quality; that requires comparable camera tests.

vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and must be purchased separately. The company’s launch announcement gave the accessory a price of ₹15,999; that announcement price does not establish current retailer stock or a current checkout price. See vivo’s X300 FE product page and vivo India Newsroom.

Do not treat the processor names as a benchmark result

The listed platforms are Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for POCO F6 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for X300 FE. The generation and model names distinguish the published specifications, but they do not by themselves establish a real-world speed ranking. The sources cited here provide no independent comparative benchmark.

Battery, durability, and software claims need regional context

vivo lists a 6,500mAh typical battery, 90W charging, IP68/IP69 ratings, Android 16, and OriginOS 6 for the India X300 FE. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent endurance, charging-time, or durability-test results. The cited POCO global page does not provide a corresponding set of battery or IP figures, so it would be misleading to infer that the phones are equal—or to rank them on those points—using this information alone.

What do the POCO F6 and vivo X300 FE cost in India?

The following figures are not equivalent live offers. The vivo prices come from official India announcements or the official store; the POCO figures come from third-party price snapshots. Check the exact configuration, seller, stock, and final checkout amount before comparing or purchasing.

How large is the reported price difference?

Using the vivo India store’s ₹84,999 listing for the X300 FE 8GB + 256GB and the Gadgets 360 snapshot’s ₹25,999 POCO F6 starting price gives a difference of at least ₹59,000 between those reported listings. It is not a verified amount a buyer must pay: the POCO offer was marked out of stock, the POCO configuration behind that starting figure is not established here, and the prices come from different types of sources.

The vivo prices also vary by source and date. In particular, vivo’s May 2026 launch announcement priced the 12GB + 256GB model at ₹79,999, while the official store page accessed later listed it at ₹89,999. Treat the current store figure as a page listing rather than a guaranteed checkout price, and verify the selected configuration before purchase.

Which phone should you buy?

  • Lean toward POCO F6 if the larger 6.67-inch display is your priority and you find a suitable, in-stock listing from a seller that provides the regional warranty you need.
  • Consider vivo X300 FE if you value a smaller 6.31-inch display, a dedicated telephoto camera, or the India-listed IP ratings and battery specification—and its verified price fits your budget.
  • Compare final offers by configuration. Match RAM and storage where possible, check seller and warranty, and confirm availability and the amount payable at checkout. The available POCO snapshots do not establish a current in-stock India price for a like-for-like comparison.

Neither specification sheet settles which phone is faster, takes better photos, or lasts longer per charge. Those conclusions need direct comparative testing, not just component names and capacity figures.
