Play Together’s Sweet Halloween update, released October 15, 2026, turns Kaia Island’s red-moon aftermath into a ghost dessert hunt. Players help the patissier Bloody prepare a party by catching ingredient-themed Sweet Fish, earning Ghost Macarons through attendance and missions, crafting Halloween items, and playing the Trick or Treat! minigame.
What Sweet Halloween adds to Play Together
HAEGIN rolled out Sweet Halloween after the game’s “Night of the Red Moon” storyline. In the event narrative, the lingering red-moon energy creates unusual fish around Kaia Island. Bloody needs those catches for a dessert party intended for ghosts, giving the update a connected loop rather than a collection of unrelated Halloween decorations.
The event is available in Play Together’s mobile social-network game experience. The October 15 launch date is reported by Inven Global in its October 14, 2026 coverage; the App Store listing also describes the Halloween content in its version-history text.
How to play the Sweet Halloween event
- Fish in Kaia Island’s sea. Look for the event’s Sweet Fish, which serve as dessert ingredients for Bloody’s party. The named examples are the Whipped Cream Octopus and Mint Starfish.
- Complete the event’s attendance and mission activities. These award Ghost Macarons, the limited event currency.
- Visit the Event Zone Workshop. Spend Ghost Macarons to craft Halloween-themed items.
- Play Trick or Treat! The minigame provides a separate route to event rewards, including cosmetics, mounts, furniture and other items.
The available sources do not establish catch rates, mission quantities, or whether every Sweet Fish appears in every region or at all times. Treat the named fish as confirmed examples, not a complete species list.

How to get Ghost Macarons
Ghost Macarons are earned through three systems. Their purpose is to fund crafting in the special Event Zone Workshop, so players who want the craftable Halloween items should check each source regularly.
| Source | What it involves | Use of the currency |
|---|---|---|
| Spooky Attendance Log | Event check-ins recorded through the attendance system | Ghost Macarons can be spent on Workshop recipes |
| Ghosts’ Dessert Orders | Missions tied to Bloody’s ghost-party preparations | Ghost Macarons can be spent on Workshop recipes |
| Bloody’s Recipe Book | Recipe-book missions connected to the event storyline | Ghost Macarons can be spent on Workshop recipes |
No publishable source gives a total macarons-per-task figure, a daily limit, or a drop-rate percentage. The update therefore supports a clear acquisition path but not a reliable time-to-complete estimate.

Crafting Halloween rewards in the Event Zone
After collecting Ghost Macarons, use the Workshop located in the special Event Zone. The event’s design separates earning from spending: fishing and mission systems supply the currency, while the Workshop is the crafting sink. Check the recipe requirements shown in-game before committing macarons, because the available reporting does not list every recipe, material cost, or recipe rotation.
The App Store’s Halloween description specifically names a Gothic Maid Costume, a Bloody Rose Birdcage, and Petite Bat pets among the event’s content. These names indicate the range of rewards—wearable cosmetics, decorative furniture and collectible companions—but do not establish that each item is obtained from the same recipe or activity.

What you can win from Trick or Treat!
Trick or Treat! is the update’s minigame-focused activity. Its reward pool is described by category rather than by a complete catalog:
- Halloween costumes for avatar customization
- Mounts for movement and collection
- Furniture for decorating player spaces
- Other event rewards whose exact contents can vary by the in-game reward presentation
Because no odds or complete item table has been published, the minigame should be understood as an additional reward route rather than a guaranteed method for obtaining a particular named item.

What is still unknown
- End date and time: The cited launch coverage does not establish when Sweet Halloween ends.
- Regional timing: No definitive regional availability or rollout schedule is stated.
- Drop rates and quantities: Catch odds, mission payouts and minigame probabilities are not published in the available sources.
- Complete catalogs: The reports name selected fish and rewards, not every Sweet Fish, recipe, costume, mount or furniture item.
For that reason, players should rely on the live event panels in their own Play Together client for countdowns, eligibility, recipe costs and reward details. The confirmed structure is the important part: fish for ingredients, complete Bloody’s event tasks for Ghost Macarons, craft in the Event Zone, and use Trick or Treat! for additional Halloween rewards.
