The October 9, 2026 unofficial Pixel Lineage tier list puts Tideborn and Nightborne at the top for solo survival, but your best race depends on what you want to do and which class you play. The official Roblox listing added “RACE EVO” to the experience title and shows an October 12, 2026 update; it does not explain Race EVO or identify evolved races. Treat the ranking and race effects below as fan-guide claims, not official game data, and check the live game before spending spins.
What this Pixel Lineage race tier list measures
The ranking below comes from an unofficial Pixel Lineage Wiki article last updated October 9, 2026. It prioritizes solo-adventure survival, especially repeatable healing and defense. Its tiers are editorial judgments, not developer rankings. The same guide lists race chances and effects, but those figures are not confirmed by an official source; another fan guide warns that race effects and mythic odds remain unverified. Check the live Encyclopedia or race screen for current information.
That caution matters because the official Roblox description calls Pixel Lineage “a fast turn-based roguelike RPG game, it is not meant to be easy,” and says the game will be updated weekly. Passives, odds, and rankings can change.

Which race should you keep?
Choose for the role you want the passive to fill, rather than treating the tier as a universal verdict. The ranking’s S-tier picks favor recovery, but their triggers are different: Tideborn is listed as healing at the start of every turn, while Nightborne’s recovery depends on dealing attack damage. A passive that only pays off when you attack may be less useful when you cannot safely deal damage.

For consistent solo recovery
Tideborn is the clearest fit in this list for repeatable, turn-based healing. Nightborne can be attractive if you attack often and deal reliable damage, but the guide’s listed healing is tied to attack damage and capped per move. Those distinctions matter more than the shared S tier.
For a defensive or Fist-focused build
Stonekin is the guide’s specific class-fit pick: its listed 15% Fist attack increase pairs with 20 extra maximum HP. Dwarf has broader defensive appeal through its listed 15 extra maximum HP and 6% Defense. These are passives; the class supplies its own weapons and action kit.

For party support, progression, or loot
- Seraph: Its listed opening protection and stronger healing for two rounds benefit a party. A solo-survival ranking may undervalue that group utility.
- Human: The guide frames its listed battle XP and class-mastery bonus as a leveling option.
- Goblin: Its listed gold and bonus-loot improvements suit a goal centered on earning resources.
- Sylvan: Its Nature damage bonus and Sylph may fit a Nature-focused plan.
For damage or specialized utility
Celestine’s listed critical-hit, dodge, and Magic bonuses may suit a build that uses those stats. Ashborn offers listed Attack and maximum-HP increases; Vesper is described as providing energy reserve, Magic, and ability evasion. Mushroom’s poison effect is conditional on being hit. Slime offers blunt resistance and post-battle recovery, but its listed fire vulnerability can undermine that defense against fire damage.
Should you reroll your race?
Not just because a guide places your current race below S tier. The tier list favors one goal—solo survival—and several lower-tier choices may be more useful for your class, party, or progression plan. A rare listed chance is not proof that a race is worth chasing, especially when the odds themselves are unofficial.

- Check the current race and passive description in the live game, rather than assuming an older guide still matches.
- Decide what is missing from your build: recovery, defense, class-specific damage, party utility, experience, or loot.
- Compare the actual passive trigger and drawback with how you play. In particular, weigh Nightborne’s attack requirement and Slime’s fire vulnerability.
- Before using a reroll, consider whether the current passive already supports your goal and whether an uncertain next roll is worth replacing it.
Race passives, class evolution, and “Race EVO” are different questions
A fan hero guide describes the base class as determining weapons, starting actions, and later Super options, while race and talent provide rolled passives. It describes the Trainer’s Shrine as the place for a permanent Super choice, with a matching Ultra Sigil continuing that class branch. It treats race and talent rerolls, class evolution, and permanent Lineage ranks as distinct systems. That guide does not establish what the newer “RACE EVO” label means.
The official Roblox experience listing displays “RACE EVO” in its title and an update date of October 12, 2026, but does not explain the feature, name evolved races, or state race-evolution effects. No authoritative developer-published Race EVO roster or mechanics are established here. Confirm any names or effects in the live game or an official developer announcement rather than assuming class evolution rules apply to races.

How many races are on this list?
The October 9 fan tier list covers 13 races: Tideborn, Nightborne, Seraph, Stonekin, Dwarf, Celestine, Ashborn, Sylvan, Vesper, Slime, Human, Goblin, and Mushroom. That is the number covered by this guide, not confirmation that 13 is the complete current in-game roster.
