Persona 5: The Phantom X is running an official crossover with Persona 3 Reload. SEGA and ATLUS have confirmed the crossover program, while community update summaries report Mitsuru Kirijo in version 4.6.1 and Fuuka Yamagishi in version 4.6.2. The character banners, dates, pity rules and server availability can differ by region, so players should treat those version reports as provisional and use the notice panel in their own game for the operative details.
What the Persona 3 Reload crossover means for P5X
Persona 5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play role-playing game for iOS, Android, Google Play Games and Steam. SEGA lists service as beginning on June 26, 2025, and describes the game as including item purchases. The crossover brings characters from Persona 3 Reload into that live-service setting rather than launching a separate edition of either game.
Persona 3 Reload is the modern reimagining of the original Persona 3. Its official character material includes Mitsuru Kirijo and Fuuka Yamagishi, so the two additions are drawn from the remake’s current presentation of those characters. The P5X Operations Team has also explicitly described a crossover in which protagonists from both series meet, confirming that this is an acknowledged in-game collaboration rather than an unverified rumor.

A separate official P5X news item says the live game has used original Persona 3 Reload event content and reruns. That matters because it establishes an ongoing crossover program: an event can return or be reintroduced under a new schedule, but a previous appearance should not be treated as proof that a banner is currently active on every server.
Mitsuru and Fuuka availability
| Character | Reported P5X event | Version cited by community summaries | Evidence status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mitsuru Kirijo | “The Fine Blade of Frozen Winter” crossover banner, with increased availability | 4.6.1 | Secondary community preview summary; confirm in the regional in-game notice |
| Fuuka Yamagishi | “The All-Seeing Eyes” crossover banner, with increased availability | 4.6.2 | Secondary community preview summary; confirm in the regional in-game notice |
The 4.6.1 and 4.6.2 references are useful for identifying the reported rollout sequence, but they are not a substitute for an official regional schedule. P5X is a live service, and notices may be staggered between servers, revised after publication or replaced by a rerun notice. No universal release date, banner length, global rollout statement or numerical pull-rate information is established by the available official material.
How to check whether you can recruit them
- Launch the version of P5X used on your platform. The game is available on iOS, Android, Google Play Games and Steam, but availability of a particular event is controlled by the account’s server and region rather than by the storefront alone.
- Open the game’s Notice or event-information panel. Look for the Persona 3 Reload crossover entry and read the start and end times shown for your account. The in-game notice is the controlling source for your server.
- Open the active recruitment or banner screen from that notice. Confirm whether the featured character is Mitsuru, Fuuka, or a rerun, and read the displayed rules before spending any currency.
- Check the banner details page. Record the stated probability information, guarantee or pity conditions, exchange rules and whether progress carries over. Those terms can change between banners and are not established globally by the crossover announcement.
- Verify the end time and maintenance window. A banner can close at a scheduled time even if the event story remains visible, and server maintenance can affect when a new version appears for you.
What is and is not confirmed about the banners
Confirmed by official communications
- SEGA and ATLUS officially acknowledge a Persona 3 Reload crossover in P5X.
- Official P5X communications describe crossover meetings between the two series and identify original-event content and reruns as part of the live game.
- Mitsuru Kirijo and Fuuka Yamagishi are official Persona 3 Reload characters.
Reported by community update summaries
- Mitsuru is associated with the “The Fine Blade of Frozen Winter” banner in a version 4.6.1 preview.
- Fuuka is associated with the “The All-Seeing Eyes” banner in a version 4.6.2 preview.
Still dependent on your regional notice
- The exact opening and closing dates.
- How long each banner remains available.
- Whether the character is available on your server.
- The pull cost, guarantee threshold, pity carry-over and rerun timing.
Should you save resources for Mitsuru or Fuuka?
There is no responsible one-size-fits-all answer without the live banner detail and each character’s published P5X kit. The available announcement material does not provide named combat statistics suitable for a direct performance ranking. Before pulling, compare the role and abilities shown in your own character trial or banner information with your current team’s needs, then read the guarantee rules. A community post can help you identify which version to watch, but the in-game rules should determine whether a pull is affordable and whether progress carries into a later banner.
Players who missed an earlier appearance should also watch official rerun notices. The existence of reruns in the crossover program means a return is possible, but it does not establish a date or guarantee that Mitsuru and Fuuka will run together.
Bottom line for P5X players
Mitsuru and Fuuka are legitimate Persona 3 Reload crossover additions to Persona 5: The Phantom X, not characters from an unrelated fan project. Community reporting places Mitsuru in version 4.6.1 and Fuuka in version 4.6.2, while official communications confirm the broader crossover and its event-and-rerun structure. Because schedules and summoning rules are regional and changeable, open the current P5X notice on your account before assuming either character is recruitable or spending currency.
