On Windows, Path of Titans stores its local data in %LOCALAPPDATA%PathOfTitansSaved, which normally resolves to C:Users<username>AppDataLocalPathOfTitansSaved. Replay files are in the Demos subfolder. A community-server world is different: there is no in-game “upload save” command. You migrate it by stopping the old server, copying its save, configuration and player-data folders, and placing them in the matching directories on the new host.
Where Path of Titans saves files on Windows
Open File Explorer and enter this path in the address bar:

The AppData folder is hidden by default, so using the environment-variable path is usually quicker and avoids changing hidden-file settings. Alderon’s launcher-troubleshooting guidance identifies this AppDataLocalPathOfTitansSaved location as the local-data directory.

Replay files are in the Demos folder
For replays, open:
%LOCALAPPDATA%PathOfTitansSavedDemos
Alderon states that replays are stored locally on the device rather than on the player account or Alderon’s online servers. A replay can therefore be backed up as a normal file and copied into the Demos folder on another Windows installation, provided the destination is running a compatible game build.
Do not assume one universal player-save filename
The public Alderon instructions do not identify a single, universal filename for every type of personal progress. If support or a server host asks for local data, preserve the relevant folder rather than deleting individual files based on an assumed name. The folder can contain more than the replay data, and replacing the wrong file can remove settings or other local information.
Before you copy, replace or upload anything
- Exit Path of Titans. Close the game and launcher before copying or replacing local files. Open files can still be written while the game is running, leaving an incomplete backup.
- Stop the community server. For a server migration, shut down the old instance first. A running server may change world, configuration or player data while you are transferring it.
- Create a dated backup. Copy the entire relevant local or server folder to a separate location and label it with the date and source machine. Keep this original until the new installation has been tested.
- Use a complete folder tree. Keep directory names, filenames and nesting intact. Uploading only a few visible files can omit configuration or player data that the server needs to load the world.
- Confirm compatibility. Check the game and server build before troubleshooting a failed load. Alderon displays version information in the main menu and launcher, and the launcher provides an update check.
How to back up local Path of Titans files on Windows
This procedure protects local data and replays without guessing which individual file matters.

- Close Path of Titans and its launcher.
- Open File Explorer.
- Paste
%LOCALAPPDATA%PathOfTitansSavedinto the address bar and press Enter. - Copy the
Savedfolder, or the specific subfolder requested by support, to another drive or a clearly named backup directory. - To preserve replays separately, copy
SavedDemosand retain the original filenames. - Open one or two copied files only to verify that the transfer completed; do not edit the originals while making the backup.
Restoring is the reverse operation: close the game, keep a second backup of the current destination, then place the saved folder or replay files back into the corresponding location. If Windows asks whether to replace files, do so only after confirming that the backup is the intended version.
How to upload a Path of Titans community-server world
A server-world transfer is a file migration between machines or hosts. It is not the same as copying a replay, and Path of Titans does not provide a general in-game button that uploads a complete server world to another host.

1. Stop the old server and make a complete export
Stop the old community-server process cleanly. Locate the server’s save, configuration and player-data directories, then copy all three categories into a dated backup. The exact directory names can vary with the host’s installation layout, so use the paths supplied by that host rather than creating new names.
Keep the backup outside the live server directory. That gives you a known-good rollback if the destination starts with a blank world or a configuration error.

2. Prepare the destination server
Create the destination server or open the existing installation supplied by your host. LOW.MS documents two normal transfer methods: the host’s web-based File Manager and an SFTP client. Choose the method your host supports and verify that you have permission to write to the server directories.
3. Upload the matching folders
Transfer the old server’s save, configuration and player-data folders into the corresponding Path of Titans directories on the new host. Do not flatten the upload by dragging files from several levels into one directory. The destination should reproduce the old directory structure and retain the original filenames.
With a web File Manager, upload the folders or an archive if the host supports archive extraction, then extract them into the server’s matching location. With SFTP, connect to the host, navigate to the server directory shown in its instructions and transfer the folders while preserving their hierarchy. Large worlds can take time; wait for the client to report completion before starting the server.

4. Recheck configuration before first launch
Open GameUserSettings.ini in the destination configuration directory and inspect the mod section. LOW.MS identifies the [PathOfTitans.Mods] section and its EnabledMods= entries as important: at startup, the server uses those entries to retrieve required mods from mod.io.

Do not remove enabled-mod lines merely because the destination is a new machine. If the migrated world depends on them, missing or incorrect entries can prevent the world from loading as expected. Also check that the file is in the destination configuration directory, not in an extra nested folder created by an incorrect upload.
5. Start and verify the migrated world
- Start the destination server after the folders and configuration are in place.
- Watch the host console or server logs for path, permission, configuration and mod-download errors.
- Connect with a client and check that the expected world state and player data are present.
- Test a normal save action or a short play session, then stop the server cleanly and confirm that files update in the destination.
- If the world is missing, stop the server and compare the destination tree with the backup before attempting another replacement.
Do not overwrite the backup during troubleshooting. It is the clean source you can use to repeat the migration after correcting a path, permission or version problem.
File Manager or SFTP: which transfer method should you use?

Neither method changes the contents of a save by itself. The important parts are a stopped source server, a verified backup, matching destination paths and an intact directory structure.
Why a migrated world may not load
Wrong destination path
The files may exist on the new machine but one level too high or too low. Compare the path containing the live server files with the path supplied by the host. An extra directory created during archive extraction is a common example.

Incomplete transfer
A browser upload can finish for some files while others fail, and an SFTP transfer can be interrupted. Compare folder contents and sizes with the dated backup. Re-upload the complete folders rather than trying to guess which missing file is responsible.
Permissions or ownership
The server process must be able to read its configuration, save and player-data directories and write updates to the world. If logs report access-denied errors, use the host’s permission or ownership procedure; do not loosen permissions indiscriminately.
Missing or unavailable mods
Inspect GameUserSettings.ini, especially the [PathOfTitans.Mods] section and every EnabledMods= entry. The server may need to download those mods from mod.io during startup. A missing entry, unavailable mod or temporary download failure can leave a dependent world unable to start correctly.
Different game or server build
A save created with a different build may not behave correctly on the destination. Check the version shown in the Path of Titans main menu or launcher, and run the launcher’s update check. Bring the game and server to a compatible current build before treating the files as corrupt.

A blank world does not prove that the backup is bad. Stop the server, read the startup output, and verify the path, permissions, configuration and mod availability in that order. Only restore another copy after those checks identify what needs correcting.

Self-hosting versus a hosted community server
Alderon recognizes both self-hosted and provider-hosted community servers. The save-transfer principles are the same, but responsibility for the machine and its file access differs.
For a hosted Path of Titans community server, Godlike.Host provides game-server hosting with a Pterodactyl-based panel and SFTP access, which fits the folder-transfer workflow described above. Not on Alderon Games’ list of Path of Titans server providers (alderongames.com, 11 Oct 2026).

Any player who owns a full copy of Path of Titans can host a community server, according to Alderon’s Community Servers FAQ. The practical choice is therefore about file control, administration and support rather than a separate save format.
Console and mobile players
The Windows path above does not automatically apply to console or mobile editions. Public Alderon guidance identifies the Windows local-data and replay locations, but does not provide a complete platform-specific procedure for exporting a personal save or uploading a console/mobile world to a server. Do not browse for an equivalent folder and assume it is supported. Check the current platform support guidance or ask the server host what data it can accept before attempting a transfer.
