To pair Skullcandy earbuds or headphones with an iPhone, turn on Bluetooth in Settings > Bluetooth, put the Skullcandy device into pairing mode using its model-specific instructions, then tap its name when it appears. Pairing controls vary by model, so there is no single button sequence that applies to every Skullcandy product.
Pair your Skullcandy device with an iPhone
- Prepare the accessory. Charge and power on the earbuds or headphones, and keep them near your iPhone. Use the instructions for your exact model to enter pairing mode or make the device discoverable.
- Open Bluetooth settings. On the iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.
- Select the accessory. Wait for the Skullcandy device name to appear, then tap it. If prompted for a PIN or passcode, follow the accessory’s instructions; the required code depends on the accessory.
Apple’s instructions for connecting third-party Bluetooth accessories use this Settings path and say to tap the accessory when it appears: Connect a third-party Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone or iPad.
Find the pairing instructions for your model
Skullcandy pairing controls are model-specific. Identify the exact product before following a button sequence; Skullcandy support lists different products, including Indy ANC, Indy EVO, Indy Fuel, Mod, Push Ultra, and Sesh ANC. That product list does not establish that every model is currently sold or that they share pairing steps. Start at Skullcandy Support’s product page to identify your model and locate its guide. The manufacturer’s support material uses pairing-mode or “Pair New Device” terminology, but does not establish one universal control sequence.
If the Skullcandy device does not appear or connect
It does not appear in the Bluetooth list
- Check that the accessory is powered on, charged, and close to the iPhone.
- Make sure it is in discovery or pairing mode. If you have not paired it before, use the exact model’s instructions to enter that mode.
- Turn the accessory off and on, then try pairing again.
Apple recommends checking proximity, charge, power, and discovery mode when a Bluetooth accessory will not connect: If a Bluetooth accessory won’t connect to your iPhone or iPad.

It was paired before, but will not reconnect
- On the iPhone, open Settings > Bluetooth.
- Tap the information control next to the Skullcandy device, then choose Forget This Device.
- Put the accessory back into pairing mode using its model-specific instructions, then repeat the pairing steps.
Forgetting the accessory removes it from the iPhone’s available-device list; you can then pair it again using Apple’s connection steps.
It connects to another device instead
If the Skullcandy accessory is connected to another phone, tablet, or computer, unpair it from that device or disconnect it there, then return the accessory to pairing mode and try the iPhone again. Apple includes disconnecting from other devices among its troubleshooting checks.

Pairing still fails
Check the exact model’s instructions or contact Skullcandy support. Apple directs users to the accessory manufacturer for help with discovery mode and compatibility. The available guidance does not establish one reset procedure that fixes pairing across all Skullcandy models, so avoid assuming a button combination applies to yours.
