In OutSystems 11, a recent site-property change may appear in the module’s Service Center > Monitoring > General log. Search for “site property.” Community reports say an entry may show old and new values for a non-secret property, but a secret property’s value may remain hidden. This is a useful lead, not a complete or guaranteed history: Service Center displays only the last two weeks of logs.
How to check who changed a site property in OutSystems 11
- Sign in to Service Center for the environment where the change occurred.
- Open Monitoring > General.
- Search or filter for site property. If you know the approximate time or module, narrow the results accordingly.
- Inspect matching entries for the timestamp, user context, property name, and any old or new values shown. Community reports describe these details, but the exact message depends on the environment and entry; confirm what your log actually records.
- If the change is older than the visible log window, ask an authorized platform operator whether the underlying logging database still contains it.
OutSystems documents the setting workflow as Service Center > Factory > Applications, then select the application and module, open Site Properties, edit Effective Value, and click Apply. That path identifies where a privileged user can make a change; it does not provide a historical ledger of changes.
What the available logs can—and cannot—tell you
Service Center General logs
OutSystems says Service Center shows the last two weeks of logs. The logs may remain in the logging database longer, depending on hosting and retention configuration, but entries outside the visible window are not available through the standard Service Center view. OutSystems Cloud retains logs for nine weeks, or seven weeks when log separation is activated; self-managed environments can configure retention. Community posts describe searching General logs for “site property” as a way to find recent changes. They report that non-secret entries may include previous and updated values, while a secret-property entry may indicate a change without exposing the secret. LifeTime audit logs
LifeTime audit logs cover IT-user activity involving applications, deployment plans, users, teams, roles, environments, and infrastructure. Their default retention is 365 days, configurable through the TimeToKeepAuditsInDays site property in the LifeTimeAudit module. Secret properties
OutSystems documents secret site properties as encrypted at rest and masked in management consoles. Do not expect an audit entry to reveal a readable secret value; a record that the property changed may be all that is available. OutSystems site-property documentation

How to keep a dependable history going forward
If your team needs attribution over time, create an audit trail that captures the actor, timestamp, environment, property, and an appropriate before-and-after representation. For secret properties, record the change event without storing or exposing the secret itself. Define retention and access controls to match your governance requirements.

A dedicated module with controlled Get/Set actions can log the caller and change, as community members have suggested. It is complete only if every permitted update goes through those actions. A person who edits the value directly in Service Center bypasses the wrapper, so combine the design with access controls and change-management procedures.
