Vivo describes Dynamic Glow and Translucent Color as part of OriginOS 6’s visual refresh. Origin Island surfaces live status and contextual actions. Vivo connects the feature with Android 16 Live Updates, positioning it as a way to see relevant activity and act on it without treating the phone’s interface as just a static home screen.

AI and productivity features
Vivo’s announcement names Gemini and Circle to Search alongside AI Retouch, Smart Call Assistant, DocMaster, AI Creation, and AI Search. It also lists Office Kit and One-Tap Transfer. Office Kit requires third-party service support, which Vivo says may change; the announcement does not establish that every named feature is available on every model or in every country.
How much faster is OriginOS 6?
Vivo reported several performance improvements in its October 2025 announcement. These are company-reported figures, not independent test results, and Vivo says some data came from its labs, may vary by model, and should be judged against actual performance.

Will my Vivo phone get OriginOS?
Not necessarily. Vivo announced a global rollout of OriginOS 6 in phases beginning in November 2025 and cautioned that the upgrade plan may vary by market. Its announcement names the X300 Pro as a phone with OriginOS 6, but that does not establish local availability or eligibility for older phones.
