The OPPO Reno16 5G has a more fully specified rear-camera system and higher listed IP ratings, while the Nothing Phone (4b) has a larger display. There is no verified same-market price comparison in the available official listings: OPPO India publishes Reno16 prices, but Nothing’s India page does not show a price. The exact market and model matter because both phones’ specifications vary by region.
Which exact phones are being compared?
“OPPO Reno16” refers to a series, not one globally identical configuration. This comparison uses the OPPO Reno16 5G, India model CPH2865, rather than the separate Reno16c 5G (CPH2859). OPPO says models, specifications and prices differ outside India. Nothing’s Phone (4b) also has regional variations, including battery capacity. Check the model number and local listing before using these figures to choose a phone. OPPO India’s Reno16 details and the Nothing India product page are the relevant regional references.
OPPO Reno16 vs Nothing Phone (4b): specs comparison

Specifications in this table are manufacturer-published claims, not independent test results. Nothing’s official pages also highlight 4K video, Essential AI tools and the Glyph Bar. Its Phone (4b) support category lists dimensions of 164.4 × 78.2 × 8.6mm and a weight of 210g, and says NFC is unavailable in India.
How do the displays and cameras differ?
Display size
Nothing lists a 6.77-inch display, compared with the Reno16 India model’s 6.32-inch screen. Both are specified for refresh rates up to 120Hz, though Nothing describes its rate as adaptive. The Reno16 listing gives a resolution of 2640 × 1216; the cited Nothing material does not provide a comparable resolution figure here. A larger diagonal does not by itself establish which display looks sharper or performs better.

Rear-camera hardware
OPPO’s India specification is more explicit about rear-camera coverage: it names a main camera, ultra-wide and 3.5× optical telephoto, all at 50MP, with OIS on the main and telephoto cameras. Nothing confirms a 50MP OIS main camera and a 119° ultra-wide, but the cited official material does not confirm a telephoto module. That is a difference in what is established by the listed specifications, not proof of comparative photo quality.
Selfies and video
OPPO’s India launch announcement describes a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera and 4K 60fps HDR video across three focal lengths for Reno16. Nothing’s official Phone (4b) material lists a 16MP front camera, 4K recording and dual-video capture. These are manufacturer feature claims; no comparable head-to-head camera or video test is established here.

Battery capacity and durability ratings
For the India Reno16 5G, OPPO states 6,700mAh typical capacity and 6,490mAh rated capacity, along with 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Nothing’s official indexed Phone (4b) content gives 6,000mAh for India and 5,200mAh for general markets. The regional figures should not be mixed, and battery capacity alone cannot determine real-world runtime: no comparable endurance test is established.
OPPO lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for the India Reno16; Nothing lists IP64 for Phone (4b). Those ratings describe specified ingress-protection classifications, not a guarantee against every kind of damage. Without matching test conditions or independent durability testing, they do not establish how either phone will fare in everyday use.

What is the price difference?
A reliable same-market price difference cannot be calculated from the cited official listings. OPPO India’s Reno16 page states prices that were correct as of 31 August 2026: ₹66,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹72,999 for 12GB+256GB. OPPO says prices and specifications can vary by market, and these listed prices may change.
Nothing’s UK product page displayed £269 against a struck-through £299 when accessed on 7 October 2026. That is a UK listing, not an India price, and the displayed price may change. Nothing’s India page shows an 8GB+128GB option but does not expose a price in the cited page content. Therefore, comparing the UK figure with OPPO’s rupee prices would mix markets and configurations rather than show a meaningful price difference. Check each manufacturer’s current local listing for the same market and storage tier before comparing totals.

Which specifications matter most for your choice?
- For display size: the listed Phone (4b) screen is larger; Reno16’s India specification provides the more complete resolution figure in the cited material.
- For rear-camera flexibility: OPPO specifies a dedicated 3.5× optical telephoto camera. The cited Nothing material confirms main and ultra-wide cameras but does not establish a telephoto module.
- For chipset comparisons: Reno16’s India chipset is named, while the cited Nothing material only identifies an 8-core Snapdragon CPU. A processor winner cannot be determined from these details.
- For battery or ruggedness: use the exact local variant’s battery and IP specifications, and do not treat capacity or IP labels as substitutes for comparable runtime or durability tests.
- For value: compare current prices for the same country and similar memory/storage configurations. The official prices cited here are not a like-for-like pair.
Neither the cited official material nor the listed specifications establish an independent Reno16-versus-Phone (4b) performance benchmark or test result.
