How much is the price difference in India?
On October 7, 2026, 91mobiles showed the OPPO Reno16 5G at ₹66,999 on Amazon India and the moto edge 70 pro plus at ₹47,999 on Flipkart. Subtracting those same-day displayed offers gives a ₹19,000 gap, with the Motorola listing lower. This is a comparison of two retailer listings, not a like-for-like manufacturer price or a guaranteed offer.

Prices can change with stock, promotions, and retailer terms. Gadgets Now’s comparison page, dated August 31, 2026, displayed ₹66,999 for Reno16 and ₹46,935 for Motorola, illustrating that Motorola’s offer differed across snapshots. Check both retailers at the same time before deciding; comparing listings checked on different dates can give a misleading gap.

Which phone has the better display and performance?
Screen size and refresh rate
The moto edge 70 pro plus is listed with a 6.8-inch, 144Hz display, compared with Reno16’s 6.32-inch, 120Hz panel. That makes Motorola the more screen-focused option on paper; Reno16’s smaller screen may suit someone who prefers a more compact phone. Refresh rate is a specification, not a guarantee of better image quality or a smoother experience in every app.
Chipset and benchmark figures
91mobiles reports AnTuTu scores of 2,217,003 for Motorola and 1,457,989 for Reno16, plus Geekbench multi-core scores of 7,054 and 4,114, respectively. These are results reported on the comparison page, not independently validated tests: the fetched material does not establish device variants, benchmark versions, test conditions, or repeatability. Treat them as an indication from that source rather than a promise of everyday speed or gaming performance.

How do the cameras compare?
Comparison listings give both phones three 50MP rear cameras and a 50MP front camera. Megapixel counts alone do not establish equal image quality, and the listings do not provide a controlled photo comparison. OPPO’s India product page specifically confirms Reno16’s 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera and 50MP ultra-wide camera. The Motorola comparison listing describes a telephoto camera with up to 3.5x optical zoom and an ultra-wide/macro camera.

Battery capacity, charging, and software support
Battery and charging
Reno16 is listed with a 6700mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC wired charging; Motorola is listed with 6500mAh and 90W TurboPower. The larger listed capacity belongs to OPPO, while the higher listed charging wattage belongs to Motorola. Neither number establishes actual battery life or charge time without comparable testing. 91mobiles also reports PCMark battery-life results of 23h 48m for Reno16 and 14h 11m for Motorola, but the comparison material does not document comparable test conditions; do not read these as expected hours of ordinary use.

Update support
The comparison listings state five years of OS updates and six years of security updates for Reno16, versus three years of OS updates and five years of security updates for Motorola. These are source-reported support terms; confirm the applicable policy, start date, and conditions with the manufacturers before treating them as a guarantee.

- Choose Reno16 if you prefer the smaller listed display, want the larger listed battery capacity, or value OPPO’s manufacturer-confirmed 50MP 3.5x telephoto specification.
- Choose the moto edge 70 pro plus if you want the larger 6.8-inch, 144Hz display, prefer its listed 12GB RAM configuration, or give weight to the higher benchmark figures reported by 91mobiles.
- Compare current offers before choosing if price is decisive: the ₹19,000 difference reflects specific Amazon India and Flipkart listings captured on October 7, 2026, not a permanent price advantage.
Motorola India’s navigation uses the name “moto edge 70 pro plus,” while 91mobiles renders it “Motorola Edge 70 Pro + 5G.” The comparison here refers to that model.
