The OPPO Reno15 5G and Xiaomi 17T share a 6.59-inch, 120Hz AMOLED display and a stated 6500mAh typical battery, but differ in resolution, camera hardware, processor, storage and charging. The Xiaomi lists a sharper 1.5K panel and a periscope telephoto camera; the India-market Reno15 lists an 80W charging rate and a 50MP front camera. Their available prices come from different countries, so they cannot establish which phone costs less in a fair, like-for-like comparison.
Which versions are being compared?
This comparison uses the OPPO Reno15 5G sold in India, model CPH2825, and the Xiaomi 17T on Xiaomi’s Global specification page. It does not cover other Reno15 family models, such as the Pro, Pro Mini, Pro Max, F or Reno15c. Regional hardware, network bands, accessories and supported features can vary.
The specifications below are manufacturer listings, not results from hands-on or controlled testing. OPPO’s product specifications are at OPPO India’s Reno15 5G specifications; Xiaomi’s are at Xiaomi’s Global Xiaomi 17T specifications.

Which display has the higher resolution?
Xiaomi lists a 1.5K, 2756 × 1268 display, while OPPO lists an FHD+ 2760 × 1256 display. Both are 6.59-inch AMOLED panels with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Those figures establish a resolution difference on paper, not how bright, color-accurate or comfortable either screen looks in use.

What do the camera specifications show?
Both phones list a 50MP main or wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with optical image stabilization. Xiaomi specifies a 115mm periscope telephoto camera, a 12MP ultrawide with a 120° field of view and Leica branding on its rear cameras. OPPO lists a telephoto camera with 2-axis OIS, an 8MP ultrawide with a 116° field of view, and a 50MP f/2.0 front camera; Xiaomi lists a 32MP f/2.2 front camera.
These hardware details do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. That depends on image processing and performance in specific conditions, neither of which is ranked by the cited specifications.

How do performance, storage and charging differ?
Processor and storage
The Reno15 5G uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4; Xiaomi lists MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500-Ultra built on a 4nm process. The Xiaomi specification page lists UFS 4.1 storage, while OPPO lists UFS 3.1. These component names alone are not a controlled benchmark or proof of a particular real-world speed advantage.

Battery and charging
Each manufacturer lists a 6500mAh typical battery. OPPO also gives a 6335mAh rated capacity. OPPO specifies charging up to 80W, compared with Xiaomi’s 67W HyperCharge and support for up to 50W PPS. These ratings do not establish comparative charging time or battery endurance.
Xiaomi explicitly says the 17T ships without a power adapter and recommends a Xiaomi adapter rated at 67W or higher. The cited OPPO specifications do not state whether an adapter is included, so the available evidence does not support a direct in-box charger comparison.

What do the available prices tell you?
The surfaced figures are from different markets and sources, not a like-for-like price comparison. OPPO’s India launch announcement listed prices for the Reno15 5G in India in 2026; TechRadar reported UK Xiaomi 17T prices in a review published June 2, 2026. The Xiaomi figures are secondary reporting, not a current official Xiaomi price quote.

OPPO’s announcement is available at OPPO India’s Reno15 Series launch announcement; the UK Xiaomi figures come from TechRadar’s Xiaomi 17T review. Because the currencies, markets and pricing sources differ, subtracting these figures or naming a price winner would be misleading. Check current prices for the same country and similar storage configurations before deciding.
