The OPPO Reno15 5G stands out on listed camera hardware, battery capacity and charging; the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G offers a published IP68 rating and a defined software-support commitment. There is no universal price difference to quote: Samsung’s 2026 launch prices vary by market and configuration, and OPPO’s cited specifications page does not state a Reno15 price.

Which phone has the better camera specifications?
On paper, the Reno15 has the more expansive camera setup: it lists a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera with OIS as well as a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP front camera. The A37 lists a 50MP wide, 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro camera, plus a 12MP front camera.
That makes the Reno15 the clearer specification fit if you specifically want a telephoto lens or a higher-resolution selfie camera. Megapixel counts and lens listings alone do not establish image quality, zoom results, or performance in low light.

Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers show
OPPO lists a 6,500mAh typical battery and maximum 80W supported charging for the Reno15. Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery for the A37; the cited Samsung announcement does not state a charging rate. The capacity figures describe typical battery capacity, not a measured difference in hours of use. Charging times and everyday endurance cannot be determined from these specifications alone.
Durability and software support
Samsung specifies IP68 water and dust resistance for the Galaxy A37 5G and commits to up to six generations of Android OS/One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates. Those published terms give buyers a clearer stated protection rating and support horizon.

The cited OPPO global specification page lists ColorOS 16.0 but does not state an equivalent duration for OS upgrades or security updates, nor a water- and dust-resistance rating. That means these details are not established by that page; it is not evidence that the Reno15 has no protection or receives no updates. OPPO also notes that some features, including NFC, depend on region, and that specifications can vary with the actual product.
Price difference: compare within one country and configuration
Samsung’s launch prices were market-specific. The UK launch RRP was £399 for the 128GB/6GB Galaxy A37 and £459 for the 256GB/8GB version, with availability from 10 April 2026. Samsung’s U.S. announcement gave a starting price of $449.99. These figures are not interchangeable or a current cross-market price comparison.

The cited OPPO global specification page does not give a Reno15 price. A fair price-difference calculation therefore requires current listings from the same country, for matching or closely comparable storage configurations, checked at the time of purchase. Do not infer a Reno15 price or a universal saving from Samsung’s launch RRPs.

- Consider the Reno15 if its listed 50MP telephoto and front cameras, larger typical battery, 80W maximum charging, or 512GB storage option match your priorities. These are specification-based reasons, not verified performance advantages.
- Consider the Galaxy A37 if its stated IP68 rating and up-to-six-generation OS/One UI upgrade and six-year security-update commitment matter most to you.
- For a value decision, compare actual local prices for the exact RAM and storage versions available to you. Samsung’s launch pricing alone cannot establish which phone costs less today.
Regional configurations can differ. OPPO identifies the Reno15 5G global model as CPH2825, and warns that regional features may vary; check the exact model and supported network bands before buying an imported handset.
