Battery and charging: V80 has the larger stated capacity
vivo specifies a 7200mAh typical battery and 7015mAh rated capacity for V80, with charging up to 90W FlashCharge. OPPO lists Reno14 at 6000mAh typical and 5840mAh rated capacity, with 80W SUPERVOOC charging. V80 therefore has the larger stated battery and higher maximum charging wattage. Capacity and charging ratings alone do not predict actual endurance or charge time, which depend on use and conditions.

Other buying detail: wired headphones on V80
vivo’s India product documentation says V80 supports Bluetooth and Type-C digital wired earphones, but not analog wired earphones. For analog 3.5mm headphones, vivo says an adapter with a built-in digital-to-analog converter is required and must be purchased separately. Confirm compatibility when choosing an adapter.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which phone should you choose?
- Choose Reno14 if price and included storage matter most. Its cited 8GB+256GB price is substantially below V80’s announced 8GB+256GB price, and its entry configuration has more storage than V80’s entry model.
- Consider V80 if its listed hardware justifies the premium for you. It specifies a larger battery, up to 90W charging, a 144Hz display ceiling in selected apps, and a 50MP ZEISS telephoto camera.
- Do not choose on camera quality or battery life claims alone. The specifications describe hardware, not comparative results in real-world photography, video or endurance.
Reno14’s cited prices are from 2025, and V80’s are announced 2026 launch prices with the stated sale date of October 13, 2026. For either model, verify the current price, offer terms, color and configuration availability with the seller before placing an order.
