The OPPO Find X9s is a conventional 6.59-inch phone; the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra opens into an 8.0-inch display for a larger workspace. That form-factor choice matters more than a spec-sheet winner: the Find X9s emphasizes a lighter body, a larger stated battery and faster wired charging, while the Fold8 Ultra offers a foldable screen and a 200MP main camera.
There is no reliable single price difference to quote across these models without choosing a country, date and matching storage configuration. The available figures are launch prices from different markets, not current like-for-like retail listings.
At a glance: a regular phone or a foldable workspace
These phones serve different priorities. OPPO’s flat-screen Find X9s is 202g and has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra weighs 215g and has a 6.5-inch cover display that opens to an 8.0-inch main display. The Samsung gives you more screen when unfolded; the OPPO is lighter and avoids the foldable form factor.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not results from a head-to-head test. OPPO’s Singapore specifications page separately lists a 7,025mAh typical and 6,840mAh rated battery capacity; regional specifications can differ. OPPO India’s May 21, 2026 announcement and Samsung’s US specifications page are the basis for the comparison.

Which design and display fit your use?
Choose the Find X9s for a standard phone shape
The Find X9s has one 6.59-inch flat display and weighs 202g. Its 120Hz AMOLED specification is listed by OPPO India. That makes it the more straightforward choice if you want a conventional phone rather than a device that unfolds into a larger screen.
Choose the Fold8 Ultra for the larger open screen
The Fold8 Ultra’s main screen measures 8.0 inches when open, alongside its 6.5-inch cover screen. That extra display area is the clearest reason to consider it: it offers a larger workspace in a phone that can also be used while folded. At 215g, it is 13g heavier than the Find X9s, according to the manufacturers’ listed weights.

How do the camera systems compare?
The Find X9s has three 50MP rear cameras: a main, an ultra-wide and a 3× telephoto camera. Samsung lists a 200MP wide camera, a 50MP ultra-wide and a 10MP 3× telephoto camera for the Fold8 Ultra. Both specifications include an ultra-wide and a 3× telephoto option, but the main-camera megapixel counts differ substantially.

Megapixels alone do not establish which phone takes better photographs. The available specifications do not provide comparable image samples or independent camera testing, so a camera-quality winner cannot be claimed from these figures.

Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers do and do not show
OPPO advertises a 7,025mAh battery and up to 80W wired charging for the Find X9s. Samsung lists a 5,000mAh battery for the Fold8 Ultra and says it supports up to 27 hours of video playback. The capacity and playback figures use different measures, and neither proves which phone lasts longer in everyday use. No comparable battery-endurance test is established here.
OPPO Singapore lists 7,025mAh as typical capacity and 6,840mAh as rated capacity, as well as up to 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Those Singapore figures should not automatically be assumed for every regional variant. See OPPO Singapore’s Find X9s specifications for that market’s listed details.

Durability and stylus support
OPPO lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for the Find X9s; Samsung lists IP48 for the Fold8 Ultra. These ratings describe different protection levels and test conditions, so they are not interchangeable scores and should not be treated as a direct durability ranking. Both are manufacturer claims, not independent durability-test results.
Samsung also lists Armor Aluminum, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 and Victus 2, and dual titanium layers beneath the Fold8 Ultra display. Samsung says the phone does not support S Pen, an important limitation if stylus input is part of your intended use.

Software support and connectivity
OPPO India says the Find X9s will receive five years of OS updates and six years of security updates. The Singapore specifications page lists Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.1 and a 32MP front camera; those are region-specific specifications and may not describe every version of the phone.
The available Samsung US specifications list the processor and storage options but do not establish a directly comparable software-support duration here. Avoid inferring a support-period winner from the information above.
Launch prices by market—and why there is no fair universal price difference
OPPO India announced launch prices in India on May 21, 2026. TechRadar reported Samsung’s 256GB Fold8 Ultra launch prices in the US, UK and Australia, with general availability from August 7, 2026. These figures belong to different currencies and markets, and they are launch prices rather than confirmed October 2026 prices.

The OPPO prices are from OPPO India’s launch announcement. The Samsung figures and August 7, 2026 general-availability date were reported by TechRadar. Do not subtract or convert these launch prices to claim a price gap: such a comparison would mix markets, currencies, tax treatment and launch conditions. Current stock and October 2026 prices are not established. To compare prices meaningfully, check current listings in the same country for the same storage capacity, seller and tax basis on the same date.
