The OPPO Find X9 is the larger-screen option, while the Xiaomi 17 has the more compact display and higher listed wired-charging wattage. The Find X9 has the larger stated battery capacity, but that does not prove it lasts longer. Neither the published specifications nor the available price snapshots establish an overall winner: choose by size, market-specific availability, and verified local price rather than megapixel or battery-capacity totals alone.

Which phone is the better size?
Choose Find X9 for a larger display
At 6.59 inches, the Find X9 has the larger listed screen. OPPO’s China-market specification gives a 2760 × 1256 resolution and refresh rate up to 120 Hz. Those numbers describe the screen, not how comfortable the phone will feel in one hand; check the dimensions of the exact regional model if hand fit matters.

Choose Xiaomi 17 for a smaller screen
The Xiaomi 17’s listed 6.3-inch display makes it the more compact screen-size choice. Screen diagonal alone does not reveal the full dimensions or weight, so it cannot settle every question about pocketability or grip.
Battery capacity and charging: what the figures do—and do not—tell you
The Find X9 is listed with a 7,025 mAh battery, compared with 6,330 mAh for the Xiaomi 17. That gives the Find X9 the larger stated capacity, but capacity is not a battery-life test. No comparable endurance result is established here, so the figures do not show which phone lasts longer in ordinary use.

Wired charging listings favor the Xiaomi 17 by rated wattage: 100 W versus 80 W for the Find X9. This does not establish how long either phone takes to charge; actual charging depends on the model variant, compatible charger, and charging conditions. The cited sources list 50 W wireless charging for both, but confirm support for the exact phone and accessories in your market. OPPO’s 80 W wired and 50 W wireless figures are from its China-market specification.

Camera hardware
The Find X9’s base-model rear setup is listed as three 50 MP cameras: main, ultra-wide, and telephoto. The comparison listing also describes three 50 MP rear cameras for the Xiaomi 17. Matching megapixel counts do not mean matching image quality: sensor size, lenses, stabilization, image processing, and the scene all matter. No controlled direct camera comparison is established by the cited material, so it would be misleading to declare a camera winner from megapixels alone.

OPPO’s global announcement discusses a 200 MP Hasselblad telephoto camera as a feature of the Find X9 Series; that is a Find X9 Pro feature, not the base Find X9. Do not use the series-level claim as the base model’s camera specification. See OPPO’s global announcement.
Chipsets
The cited comparison pages list MediaTek Dimensity 9500 for Find X9 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Xiaomi 17. These identify different flagship platforms, but the names alone do not show which phone is faster in real applications, games, or sustained workloads. No direct benchmark comparison is established here.

Price difference and availability depend on your market
There is no universal price gap. It depends on country, storage tier, seller, warranty, promotions, and when you check. At access time, the 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹62,779 for the Find X9 and ₹89,999 for the Xiaomi 17, with the Xiaomi amount associated with Amazon India. Treat those as a dated India-market seller-facing snapshot, not official prices, a guaranteed current offer, or a like-for-like comparison of verified configurations: 91mobiles’ price and specification comparison.
Gadgets 360’s comparison lists the Xiaomi 17 as launched in India and the Find X9 as not launched there, illustrating why a marketplace or imported listing is not the same as authorized local availability. OPPO announced that global availability for the Find X9 series would begin in early November 2025 through official OPPO stores, authorized retailers, and partner carriers; that announcement does not mean every configuration is sold in every country. The cited material does not verify a country-specific official Xiaomi 17 price or a complete authoritative Xiaomi availability list. See Gadgets 360’s comparison and OPPO’s global availability announcement.

Before buying, compare the same storage capacity and seller type, confirm whether the phone is an authorized local model or an import, and check the local warranty, network-band compatibility, and included charger. Those checks matter more than subtracting two listings that may not represent equivalent offers.
Quick Recap
Which should you buy?
- Pick the OPPO Find X9 if you prefer a larger listed display and want the higher stated battery capacity. The capacity figure alone does not establish longer runtime.
- Pick the Xiaomi 17 if you prefer a smaller listed display or prioritize the higher wired-charging wattage shown in the comparison listing. Wattage alone does not establish charging time.
- Make price your deciding factor only after checking current local listings for the same storage tier, seller status, warranty, and regional variant.
- Do not choose on camera or speed claims alone based only on megapixel totals or chipset names; the cited sources do not provide a controlled head-to-head test.
