The India-market OPPO F35 5G is listed with ColorOS 16, but OPPO has not published an F35-specific number of Android-version upgrades or a fixed security-update period in the available official information. It supports up to 80W SUPERVOOC charging, with charging results that vary by adapter, voltage, temperature and use. Its IP69K marketing refers to controlled laboratory tests; the phone should be treated as water-resistant, not waterproof, and must never be charged while wet.

Yes. OPPO advertises up to 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge for the F35 5G. “Up to” is important: the maximum is a supported charging mode under suitable conditions, not a speed that every charger, cable, outlet or battery state will deliver continuously.

OPPO says actual charging time and power can change with the environment, test conditions and individual use. Maximum output can also vary with regional input voltage. These figures therefore should not be read as a guaranteed result for every India outlet, room temperature, cable, adapter or phone workload.
Can I use any charger with the OPPO F35?
A USB-C charger can supply power, but an arbitrary charger should not be expected to reproduce the advertised 80W SUPERVOOC rate. The official specification establishes the phone’s maximum supported branded charging mode; it does not say that every USB-C power adapter or cable negotiates that mode.

- Adapter: confirm that it supports the charging protocol and output required for SUPERVOOC, rather than only generic USB power.
- Cable: use a cable rated for the intended charging system and in good condition. A damaged or unsuitable cable can reduce speed or create a safety risk.
- Region and model: check the exact India F35 5G listing and the adapter’s input requirements. The reviewed product information does not confirm what charger is included in every retail box, so do not assume an adapter is supplied.
A lower-power, compatible USB-C charger can still charge the phone, but it may charge more slowly. The phone, adapter and cable determine the negotiated rate; the wall socket alone does not guarantee 80W.
How to get the most consistent charging speed
- Use a compatible SUPERVOOC adapter and cable intended for the F35 5G, and connect directly to a sound wall outlet.
- Remove heavy workloads while charging. Gaming, navigation, video recording and hotspot use generate heat and consume power while the battery is filling.
- Keep the phone and adapter in a ventilated, moderate-temperature place. Heat protection can reduce instantaneous power.
- Check the charging indication after connecting. If the phone does not identify the expected fast-charge mode, inspect the cable and adapter specifications rather than forcing a connector.
- Do not connect the charger until the USB-C port is completely dry.
Does the OPPO F35 support reverse wired charging?
Yes. OPPO documents reverse wired charging at a maximum of 5V/2A. This is intended for supplying power to another compatible device over a cable; it is not an 80W output mode.
The feature requires USB-OTG and a dedicated USB-C-to-USB-C cable. OPPO recommends using an official OPPO C-to-C cable for safety. The recipient device’s OTG and charging behavior can determine whether the connection works as expected, so compatibility is not universal.

Using reverse charging safely
- Make sure both devices are dry and that the F35 5G has enough battery for the intended transfer.
- Enable USB-OTG if your ColorOS build presents an OTG control in Settings; menu names can differ by version.
- Connect the F35 5G to the recipient with a dedicated C-to-C cable.
- Confirm which device is supplying power. If the direction is wrong, disconnect and review the OTG or USB connection notification before reconnecting.
- Stop if either device becomes unusually hot, repeatedly connects and disconnects, or shows a liquid warning.
Because the documented maximum is 5V/2A and the recipient’s OTG implementation matters, reverse charging is best treated as an emergency or convenience feature rather than a replacement for a dedicated charger.

No phone should be described as unconditionally waterproof. OPPO markets the F35 5G with IP69K Water and Dust Resistance, but its detailed disclosure says the product was tested under controlled laboratory conditions to IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K test standards.

For the IP66, IP68 and IP69 claims, OPPO cites GB/T 4208-2017 (China) and IEC 60529-2013 (international). The IP69K disclosure cites ISO 20653:2023. The standards and test methods are not interchangeable labels: each describes a particular laboratory exposure.

Can I use the OPPO F35 in the rain?
Brief exposure to ordinary rain is within the kind of normal-use resistance OPPO describes, but real conditions differ from laboratory tests. Keep the exposure as short as practical, avoid connecting accessories while the phone is wet, and dry the exterior before using the port.
Can I take the OPPO F35 swimming?
No. Do not take it swimming, deliberately immerse it, or expose it to seawater, drinks or other liquids. Salt, sugar, chemicals, movement and pressure can create conditions unlike the disclosed fresh-water test. OPPO also warns that resistance can decline through ordinary wear, so an older or previously damaged phone may not perform like a new laboratory sample.

- Choose it for software only with a clear support question answered: ColorOS 16 and OTA feature delivery are confirmed, but an F35-specific Android-upgrade count and security-support duration are not.
- Use the IP rating as protection against accidents, not an activity license: rain may be survivable under normal conditions, while swimming, immersion, seawater and drinks are expressly inappropriate.
- Plan reverse charging correctly: it is a 5V/2A wired feature requiring USB-OTG and a C-to-C cable, with recipient-device compatibility affecting the result.
