The OPPO F33 Pro 5G costs ₹15,000 more than the F31 5G at matching 8GB/128GB launch configurations, and ₹16,000 more at 8GB/256GB. Its clearest documented upgrade is a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera; both phones list a 7,000mAh typical battery and 80W charging. Whether the F33 Pro is worth the premium depends chiefly on whether its wider front-camera framing and newer launch software matter to you.

Later F33 Pro online listing
On October 7, 2026, OPPO’s online listing showed the F33 Pro at an MOP of ₹39,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹43,999 for 8GB/256GB. What does the F33 Pro improve?
Front camera and selfie framing
The most pronounced documented difference is on the front. OPPO’s F31 series announcement specifies a 16MP front camera, while its F33 launch announcement describes a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with a 100° field of view. The wider stated field of view is relevant for group selfies or fitting more of a scene into the frame. Megapixel count and field of view alone do not establish which phone produces better-looking images.
Processor and launch software
The F33 Pro uses the newer-named MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX, compared with the F31’s Dimensity 6300, and launched with ColorOS 16 rather than ColorOS 15. These are specification and launch-version differences, not proof of a particular speed increase or longer future software support. No independent head-to-head benchmark or comparative update-duration information is established here.

Display information
OPPO lists the F33 Pro with a 6.57-inch flat AMOLED display, 1080 × 2372 resolution and an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. The cited F31 material does not provide a comparable display specification, so the evidence here does not support a complete side-by-side display verdict.

Battery and charging
Both phones are listed with a 7,000mAh typical battery capacity (27.44Wh), a 6,830mAh rated capacity and 80W charging support. Those matching headline figures do not show which phone lasts longer or reaches a full charge sooner in everyday use; that requires comparable testing under stated conditions.

Water and dust ratings
OPPO lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for the F31, and IP66, IP68 and IP69K for the F33 Pro. OPPO says the F33 Pro ratings were tested under controlled laboratory conditions. A rating describes performance under defined test conditions, not immunity to all water or dust exposure, and it does not by itself establish warranty coverage for liquid damage. The labels alone also do not establish that one phone is more durable overall.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the F31 if your priority is the lower official launch price and the F33 Pro’s ultra-wide selfie camera and newer launch software do not justify the difference for you.
- Consider the F33 Pro if you specifically want its 50MP ultra-wide front camera and 100° field of view, or value its newer processor designation, ColorOS 16 launch version and stated display specifications.
- Compare current checkout prices before deciding. The available dated listing establishes later F33 Pro prices but not a current F31 price, so the launch-price premium should not be mistaken for today’s actual difference.
Neither phone can be declared the real-world winner for battery life, camera quality, display performance or gaming from specifications alone; no independent controlled head-to-head results are established here. OPPO’s September 2025 F31 announcement also attributes a claim that 79% of buyers rank durability as their top buying factor to a “recent Counterpoint Research survey.” OPPO did not identify that survey’s year, sample or methodology in the release, so the percentage is not independently verifiable from that announcement.
