The OPPO F31 5G costs less at its September 2025 launch prices and has a 6.5-inch display, a Dimensity 6300, and UFS 2.2 storage. Both are listed with 120Hz AMOLED displays, 7,000mAh typical batteries, and 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Their launch configurations differ, so the price gap is not a like-for-like comparison.

OPPO’s stated specifications put the Pro+ on a higher chipset and storage tier. That is a comparison of listed components, not an independent performance test; it does not establish a measured speed difference in everyday use. Likewise, camera resolution and stabilization features do not by themselves establish which phone takes better photos.

At launch, the entry configuration of the Pro+ cost ₹10,000 more than the entry F31. But that compares 8GB/256GB with 8GB/128GB. The two upper configurations also had a ₹10,000 launch-price gap, but the Pro+ option included 12GB RAM while the F31 option had 8GB. Neither gap isolates a premium between identical configurations. These are historical launch prices, not verified current prices.

Choose the F31 5G if the lower launch entry price matters most
The base F31 was the less expensive starting point, and its 8GB/128GB launch configuration may be sufficient if you do not need 256GB. It still has a 120Hz AMOLED display and shares the series’ stated battery-capacity and charging claims. Consider whether the lower-tier processor, UFS 2.2 storage, smaller screen, and 16MP front camera suit your needs.

Choose the F31 Pro+ 5G if you want the higher listed hardware tier
The Pro+ pairs the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with UFS 3.1 storage, has the larger 6.8-inch display, and lists a 32MP front camera. Its 50MP main camera includes optical image stabilization (OIS). Those are concrete specification differences, but they do not guarantee a particular gaming frame rate, photo result, or real-world battery life.
Battery capacity, charging, and durability claims
OPPO lists 7,000mAh typical capacity and 80W SUPERVOOC charging across the F31 series. For the Pro+, it also specifies 6,820mAh rated capacity; typical and rated figures are different measures and should not be treated as interchangeable. The source information does not give a separate rated figure for the base F31.

In its September 15, 2025 launch announcement, OPPO said the series’ battery uses “bio-inspired electrolyte repair technology” and retains 80% capacity after 1,800 cycles, which OPPO equates to five years of daily use. This is a manufacturer claim, not an independently verified test result. OPPO also cited Counterpoint Research as finding that 79% of buyers rank durability as their top buying factor; the announcement did not state the survey year, and the underlying publication was not independently confirmed here.

Availability and checking a current offer
OPPO announced initial availability dates of September 27, 2025 for the F31 5G and September 19, 2025 for the F31 Pro+ 5G. Its launch materials named Amazon, Flipkart, OPPO E-store, and offline stores as sales channels at that time. Those historical dates and channels do not confirm present stock or pricing.
