The OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro are still leak-based products as of October 16, 2026. Current reports consistently point to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a large high-refresh OLED display and an unusually large battery, but they do not establish final model-by-model specifications, pricing or a launch date. Treat every hardware figure below as expected rather than official.
What is actually known about the OnePlus Ace 7 series?
OnePlus has not published a complete specification sheet for either phone in the material available as of October 16, 2026. The Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro names come from reporting about two upcoming devices, and the specifications are assembled from leaks rather than regulatory filings or an official product page. That distinction matters: leaked engineering targets can change before launch, and a number reported for one model can be incorrectly attributed to the other.
Gizmochina’s 2026 reporting and a separate leak summary agree on the broad direction: flagship Qualcomm silicon, a large OLED panel aimed at gaming, a very high-capacity battery and fast wired charging. They disagree on some display details and do not provide enough information to separate the standard Ace 7 from the Pro with confidence.
- The processor expectation is the most consistent part of the reports.
- The display is described as roughly 6.78 to 6.83 inches, with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate around 185Hz or potentially higher.
- A battery near 9,000mAh and charging between 100W and 120W are reported possibilities, not confirmed ratings.
- The camera evidence goes no further than a possible dual-camera rear arrangement.
- Launch timing, prices, storage, memory, cooling hardware and regional availability remain unresolved.
Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the leading expectation
What the leaks say
Both the Gizmochina report and the separate leak summary identify Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 as the processor for the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro. Because no official OnePlus specification sheet was found, this should be written as a reported expectation, not a confirmation that the retail phones will ship with that chip.

Why that matters for performance
A Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform would place the Ace 7 family in the flagship-performance class on paper. It would be relevant to demanding 3D games, sustained multitasking and on-device processing, especially when paired with the reported high-refresh display. However, a processor name alone does not establish real-world speed. Performance depends on the final clock configuration, thermal limits, memory type, software tuning and the size of the cooling system.
No credible details currently establish RAM capacities, storage standards, graphics settings, vapor-chamber dimensions or sustained gaming temperatures. Those omissions prevent a meaningful performance comparison between the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro. Until OnePlus publishes those specifications or independent testing is available, the chip name is the useful fact and benchmark claims would be premature.
Display: a large OLED panel, but conflicting size and refresh reports
Size and resolution
One leak set cited by Gizmochina describes a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. Another summary gives a slightly larger 6.83-inch panel. The safest interpretation is that both phones are expected to use a large OLED screen in the high-six-inch range, while the exact diagonal is unsettled.
“1.5K” is a leak shorthand rather than a complete pixel specification. It indicates a resolution between conventional Full HD+ and Quad HD+ in the way these reports commonly use the term, but it does not tell you the exact width, height, pixel density or aspect ratio. Those values should be taken from the final technical sheet.
Refresh rate and gaming focus
Gizmochina’s figure is approximately 185Hz. The other leak summary suggests a higher refresh-rate ceiling without establishing a final number. That disagreement is significant because a panel’s maximum refresh rate, supported game modes and touch-sampling behavior are separate specifications. A display can advertise a high peak while using lower rates in many apps to conserve power.

The consistent message is positioning: the Ace 7 series is expected to emphasize gaming and smooth motion. Whether both models receive the same panel, whether 185Hz is available at the full resolution, and which games can use the top mode are not known. Buyers should wait for an official resolution-and-refresh table rather than treating the highest leaked figure as guaranteed everyday behavior.
Camera expectations: only a dual-camera layout is reported
What is reported
The separate leak summary describes a dual-camera rear setup. That is the only specific camera detail located for the Ace 7 family. It does not identify which sensor is the primary camera, whether the second unit is ultra-wide or depth-focused, or whether the two phones use different hardware.

No reliable information in the available reporting confirms megapixel counts, sensor models, optical image stabilization, telephoto capability, front-camera resolution, autofocus behavior or video modes. Claims that either phone has a particular Sony sensor, a periscope lens or a specific stabilization system would go beyond the evidence.
A two-camera design can still produce very different results depending on sensor size, lens aperture, image processing and stabilization. The absence of those details means camera quality cannot yet be ranked against other phones or used as a reason to choose the Pro model. If photography is your priority, the launch specification sheet and independent camera samples will be more informative than the current layout rumor.
Battery and charging: a possible 9,000mAh cell with 100W–120W charging
Battery capacity
Gizmochina reported a possible 9,000mAh battery, while the separate leak summary also describes a very large battery without confirming a final capacity. A battery near 9,000mAh would be unusually large for a conventional smartphone and could support long gaming sessions or heavy mobile data use, but the number remains unconfirmed.

Capacity alone does not determine endurance. Screen brightness, refresh-rate mode, modem activity, game workloads, processor efficiency and software limits all affect runtime. The final battery may also be implemented as two cells for charging and thermal reasons, so the retail specification should be checked for rated and typical capacity if OnePlus publishes both.

Charging wattage
The reported charging range is 100W or 120W. Gizmochina presents both as possibilities, and the leak summary likewise describes fast charging without fixing a wattage. There is no basis to assign 100W to one model and 120W to the other.
Peak input is not the same as the time needed to reach a full charge. Actual charging speed depends on the supplied adapter, cable, battery temperature, state of charge and regional certification. A phone generally reduces power as the battery fills, and sustained gaming while charging can lower the rate further. Until OnePlus states the supported charger and charging protocol, the wattage should be treated as a headline target rather than a guaranteed result with any third-party adapter.
OnePlus Ace 7 vs. Ace 7 Pro: what can and cannot be compared
The evidence names two phones but does not provide a dependable specification split. The table below records the current state without filling gaps with assumptions.
| Specification | OnePlus Ace 7 | OnePlus Ace 7 Pro | What the evidence supports |
|---|---|---|---|
| Processor | Expected Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 | Expected Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 | Both names are reported; official confirmation is absent. |
| Display size | Not stated separately | Not stated separately | Reports range from about 6.78 to 6.83 inches for the series. |
| Resolution | Expected 1.5K | Expected 1.5K | Reported for the series, not assigned by model. |
| Refresh rate | Approximately 185Hz in one report; final value unknown | Approximately 185Hz or a higher ceiling in conflicting reports | The sources disagree and do not establish a model split. |
| Rear cameras | Possible dual-camera setup | Possible dual-camera setup | No confirmed sensors, megapixels or stabilization details. |
| Battery | Possible capacity near 9,000mAh | Possible capacity near 9,000mAh | The figure is a reported expectation for the series. |
| Charging | Reported possibility of 100W or 120W | Reported possibility of 100W or 120W | Final wattage and model assignment are unknown. |
| Cooling | Not stated | Not stated | No credible dimensions or materials were supplied. |
| RAM and storage | Not stated | Not stated | No capacities or storage standard are established. |
| Price | Not stated | Not stated | No reliable launch pricing is available. |
| Availability | Not stated | Not stated | Launch markets and release timing remain unresolved. |
This means the Pro label cannot yet be justified as a faster, better-camera or larger-battery version. The shared processor expectation actually makes the unresolved differences—cooling, cameras, memory, display implementation and charging behavior—more important once official details arrive.

Launch date, price and regional availability
No launch date is established in the available reporting. There is also no reliable price, market list or confirmation of a retail listing. OnePlus could announce the phones first in one market and introduce related hardware under a different name elsewhere, so a rumored date should not be treated as a global release date without region-specific confirmation.
Availability will affect practical decisions such as network-band support, warranty coverage, charger type and software region. Until OnePlus identifies the sales markets, prospective buyers should not assume that an imported Ace 7 or Ace 7 Pro will have the same bands, services or after-sales support as a locally sold model.
How to evaluate the final specification sheet
When official information appears, check these items in order rather than relying on a single headline number:
- Processor name and variant: confirm that the retail model actually lists Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and note any regional differences.
- Display details: look for exact pixel dimensions, measured diagonal, maximum refresh rate, adaptive-rate range and whether the top mode works at full resolution.
- Camera hardware: verify sensor models, optical stabilization, autofocus, telephoto or ultra-wide roles and front-camera specifications.
- Battery statement: distinguish rated capacity from typical capacity and check whether the figure applies to one cell or the combined pack.
- Charging requirements: confirm the maximum wired wattage, included adapter, supported protocol and regional restrictions.
- Performance hardware: compare RAM, storage type, cooling construction and sustained-performance settings before assuming the Pro model is faster.
- Market information: verify price, warranty, network bands and release date for your country.
Should you wait for the Ace 7 or Ace 7 Pro?
Waiting makes sense if your decision depends on a very large battery, an unusually fast display or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Those are the strongest recurring expectations, but none is yet an official promise. Waiting is especially important for camera buyers because the current reporting does not identify the sensors or stabilization system at all.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf you need a phone immediately, choose a currently documented model instead of buying on the assumption that a 9,000mAh battery, 120W charging or 185Hz mode will appear in the final Ace 7 hardware. The leaks describe an ambitious gaming-oriented design, not a finished retail specification.
