The vivo T4 Ultra has the longer listed telephoto reach and faster stated charging; the OnePlus 13R has the larger stated battery and a bigger, flat screen. Which is the better buy depends on which of those trade-offs matters to you—and on the price and stock you can confirm in India.
How the OnePlus 13R and vivo T4 Ultra compare
The specifications below come from official product pages. OnePlus’s detailed specifications page is for North America, while OnePlus’s India launch announcement provides India-specific configuration and charging context. vivo’s cited specifications are for India.

Which phone has the better camera setup?
For longer optical reach: vivo T4 Ultra
The T4 Ultra lists a 50MP 3× periscope telephoto camera, compared with the 13R’s 50MP 2× telephoto. That gives the vivo the longer stated optical reach on paper, which may suit people who often photograph distant subjects.

For overall photo quality: specifications do not settle it
Both phones list a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. Megapixel counts and zoom specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos in everyday use; that would require comparable camera testing. The 13R’s cited North American page lists a 16MP front camera and vivo lists 32MP, but resolution alone does not determine selfie quality.
Which has the larger screen, and what does the shape mean?
The OnePlus 13R has a slightly larger 6.78-inch flat display. The T4 Ultra’s 6.67-inch AMOLED display is curved. Choose based on the size and shape you prefer in hand; the cited specifications do not establish which display looks better or is easier to use.
Which phone has the better battery and charging specifications?
Battery capacity
OnePlus lists a 6,000 mAh single-cell battery for the 13R. vivo lists 5,500 mAh typical capacity for the T4 Ultra. The 13R therefore has the larger stated capacity, but capacity figures alone do not prove longer battery life; usage and independent testing matter.

Charging and regional versions
vivo lists 90W charging for the T4 Ultra. OnePlus’s India launch announcement describes 80W charging for the 13R, while its North American specifications page lists 55W and notes up to 80W with specified adapters. These are regional and adapter-dependent specifications, not measured charge times.
How do software and durability ratings compare?
The cited pages identify both phones as running Android 15-based software: OxygenOS 15 on the OnePlus North American page, and Funtouch OS 15 on vivo’s India specifications. The vivo India store advertises a 3+4 OS upgrade policy. These sources do not define upgrade periods in identical terms, so the wording should not be treated as a direct like-for-like promise.
OnePlus India lists IP65 for the 13R; vivo India lists IP64 for the T4 Ultra. These ratings are not a claim that either phone is waterproof. Check the manufacturers’ terms for the conditions covered by each rating.

A reliable current price gap cannot be established from the official listings available here because a comparable current OnePlus India retail price is not stated. The vivo India E-Store displayed ₹35,999 for the T4 Ultra 8GB/256GB Meteor Grey variant, against a displayed MRP of ₹40,999, when accessed on October 7, 2026; that selected listing was marked out of stock. Treat this as a dated store snapshot, not a guaranteed current offer or a basis for calculating a price difference.

Check the live listings for the same RAM and storage tier before deciding. OnePlus India’s January 7, 2025 launch announcement says the 13R was available in India with up to 16GB RAM; the detailed OnePlus specifications page cited above is North American and lists 12GB/256GB, so do not assume its configuration or charging details describe every India variant.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the vivo T4 Ultra if its listed 3× periscope camera and 90W charging suit your priorities, and you can find the configuration you want at an acceptable current price.
- Consider the OnePlus 13R if you prefer its larger stated battery or a slightly larger, flat display.
- Compare local listings before buying if price is decisive: the available vivo figure is a dated, out-of-stock snapshot, and the cited official sources do not establish a matching current OnePlus India price.
