The Motorola Edge 70 Max stands out for its larger listed battery, faster-refresh display and Qi2 magnetic wireless charging; the OnePlus 13’s listed rear-camera setup adds a dedicated 3× optical periscope telephoto. Which is the better fit depends on the exact regional configuration and current local price. The specifications below are not a substitute for controlled, head-to-head testing of battery life, screens or cameras.

How the prices compare
On 7 October 2026, 91mobiles displayed the OnePlus 13 at ₹57,994 from Croma and the Motorola Edge 70 Max at ₹53,770 from Amazon. That retailer snapshot put the Motorola ₹4,224 lower. These were displayed offers, not fixed manufacturer prices; the listings may not represent equivalent configurations, stock or current offers. Check the seller, storage variant and included promotions before comparing today’s checkout prices. See the 91mobiles comparison.

This is a dated Spanish launch price, not a current Europe-wide quote, and it should not be compared directly with the rupee offers. Read the Spanish launch-price report from Cinco Días.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
Motorola’s stated battery and charging
Motorola lists a 7100mAh silicon-carbon battery, 90W TurboPower wired charging, 25W magnetic Qi2 wireless charging and 5W wired reverse charging. It estimates up to 73 hours of battery life, while noting that the estimate is approximate and depends on network, settings, temperature and battery condition. Treat that as a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee of how long the phone will last in your routine.
OnePlus capacity and the practical difference
The 91mobiles comparison lists a 6000mAh battery for the OnePlus 13. The capacity figures favor Motorola on paper, but they do not establish which handset lasts longer between charges: efficiency, screen use, signal conditions and software all affect endurance. No comparable independent battery test is established by these specifications.

Display: 120Hz versus up to 144Hz
Both phones are listed with a 6.82-inch screen at 1440 × 3168 resolution. The OnePlus 13 is listed as LTPO AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate; Motorola specifies an Extreme AMOLED panel with up to 144Hz, HDR10+, 10-bit color, 100% DCI-P3 and 7000-nit peak brightness. A higher maximum refresh rate can allow smoother motion in supported content, but the listed maximum does not show how often a phone uses it or how it affects battery consumption.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

Peak-brightness claims and display modes are not necessarily measured on the same basis across manufacturers, so the figures do not establish which screen is brighter in ordinary use. The specifications also do not replace a controlled comparison of color, visibility or power use.

Cameras: dedicated zoom or macro-capable ultra-wide
OnePlus 13
The 91mobiles comparison lists three 50MP rear cameras: main, ultra-wide and a 3× optical periscope telephoto. That gives the listed OnePlus configuration a dedicated telephoto camera for optical zoom.
Motorola Edge 70 Max
Motorola specifies a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization, plus an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with autofocus and macro capability. Its listed front camera is 32MP, and it supports 4K HDR10+ video capture at 60 or 30fps.
Rank #4
- Military-grade drop protection via Air Cushion Technology
- Infused with blue resin for long-lasting clarity
- Raised edges for screen and camera protection
- Compatible with wireless charging
- Oneplus 13 Case Compatible with Oneplus 13
The camera setups emphasize different hardware: the OnePlus listing includes a dedicated telephoto lens, while Motorola identifies autofocus and macro capability on its ultra-wide. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality, and the available specifications do not provide a controlled head-to-head camera result.

Processor and configuration
Motorola’s EMEA support specifications list Android 16, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. The 91mobiles comparison lists the OnePlus 13 with Snapdragon 8 Elite and a 12GB RAM / 256GB storage configuration, and also lists a 12GB option. Because these configurations and support listings can differ by market, compare the exact variant being sold rather than assuming every OnePlus 13 or Edge 70 Max has the listed memory.
Update commitments
Motorola states up to three years of OS updates and five years of security updates, ending in July 2031. The 91mobiles comparison lists four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for OnePlus 13; that figure is secondary-source information here, not an independently verified OnePlus support commitment. Check the update policy for the exact regional model before purchase.
Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Choose based on zoom needs: The OnePlus 13’s listed 3× optical periscope telephoto is the clearer fit if a dedicated zoom camera matters to you.
- Prioritize the stated battery and charging options: Motorola lists the higher battery capacity, 90W wired charging and 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging. These are hardware and manufacturer claims, not proof of longer real-world runtime.
- Consider refresh rate as one display factor: Motorola lists up to 144Hz versus the OnePlus 13’s listed 120Hz, while both comparison listings show the same screen size and resolution. The figures alone do not determine overall display quality.
- Compare the actual offers: Match market, seller, RAM and storage configuration, stock and included promotions. The dated rupee offers and Spanish launch price refer to different markets and dates.
Motorola’s support page also lists IP68/IP69 water protection, MIL-STD 810H, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and stereo speakers. These are additional listed features, not a substitute for checking the regional specification for the specific handset on sale. Consult Motorola’s Edge 70 Max specifications.
