The OnePlus Nord 6 is the stronger paper upgrade for battery capacity, listed display refresh rate, storage in the compared configurations and reported software support. The OnePlus 11R counters with faster listed wired charging and a 2 MP macro camera. Price is less clear: the available figures are snapshots from different dates and do not establish a like-for-like current price difference.

What the battery and charging figures mean
The Nord 6’s listed 9,000 mAh battery is substantially larger than the 11R’s 5,000 mAh battery, while the 11R has the higher listed wired charging rate: 100 W versus 80 W. Capacity and charging wattage describe different trade-offs; wattage alone does not establish which phone charges faster in a matched test, and the cited sources provide no such comparison.

Android Central reviewer Harish Jonnalagadda reported that the Nord 6 lasted two days in his use, even with heavy use. That is his review observation, not a guaranteed result across users, networks, settings or workloads. Read the Android Central Nord 6 review.
Performance and display: newer hardware, with a refresh-rate caveat
The comparison lists the Nord 6 with the newer Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and the 11R with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It also lists higher AnTuTu scores for the Nord 6: 2,366,913 compared with 832,546 for the 11R. Those are third-party figures with test conditions unspecified on the comparison page, not a controlled same-lab result or a promise of particular game frame rates.
The Nord 6’s listed display is slightly larger and reaches a higher listed refresh-rate ceiling, 165 Hz versus 120 Hz. Android Central notes that the Nord 6’s 165 Hz mode is available only in select games. The headline number therefore does not mean every app or game will run at that rate, or that every user will notice a benefit.

Both comparison entries list a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. The Nord 6’s listed front camera has higher resolution at 32 MP, while the 11R includes a 2 MP macro camera that is not listed for the Nord 6. These resolution and camera-count differences do not, by themselves, establish overall image quality.
Android Central’s review says the Nord 6 can capture detailed main-camera images, but also flags inconsistent camera results and the lack of a telephoto camera. If zoom flexibility or predictable results matter more than selfie-camera resolution, those review caveats deserve more weight than megapixel counts alone.
Storage and software support
The compared 11R entry has 128 GB of storage and the Nord 6 entry has 256 GB. Because the table compares particular entries rather than every configuration, check the exact RAM and storage variant in the seller listing before treating that difference as universal.
The comparison page lists 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates for the 11R, against 4 years and 6 years for the Nord 6. Android Central also reports four Android OS updates and six years of security updates for the Nord 6. The sources do not establish exact support end dates, so buyers should verify the policy for their region and variant.
What is the price difference in India?
The available prices are not a matched live comparison. On October 7, 2026, 91mobiles showed the 11R at ₹28,999 but marked it out of stock; its Nord 6 entry showed ₹47,368 at Amazon India. Those snapshots do not show the cost of buying two currently available, equivalent configurations.
For a separate point of reference, Android Central’s April 8, 2026 launch-period report listed Nord 6 prices of ₹38,999 for 8 GB/256 GB and ₹41,999 for 12 GB/256 GB, with sales in India starting April 9. These launch-period prices are distinct from the later comparison-page listing, not a current offer.
Before comparing totals, check the exact RAM/storage configuration, seller, availability and date for each listing. If the 11R is not available from a seller you trust, the displayed figure is not a useful purchase price, and calculating an upgrade premium from it would be misleading.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Nord 6 if you prioritize a much larger listed battery, newer listed chipset, more storage in the compared configuration, a higher refresh-rate ceiling, a higher-resolution front camera or the longer update durations reported by the sources.
- Consider the 11R if it is available at a suitable price and you value its higher listed wired charging rate or want the listed macro camera. Its age and the stock status shown in the October 2026 comparison make current availability especially important.
- Decide based on your use if cameras or gaming are the priority. The rear main and ultrawide camera resolutions are listed as the same, but the Nord 6 review notes inconsistency and no telephoto lens. Its 165 Hz figure is limited to select games, and the listed scores do not establish real-world performance in a particular title.
For most buyers choosing between an available 11R and Nord 6 at reasonable, verified prices, the Nord 6 is the more substantial upgrade on paper. Whether it is worth the extra cost depends on the actual offer and whether its battery, storage and support advantages matter to you.
