There are no confirmed One Piece: Grand Gourmet performance settings or benchmarks yet. Bandai Namco lists the game for release on October 23, 2026, so any guide promising specific FPS gains, preset names or ideal resolutions before launch would be speculation. The responsible approach is to prepare platform-specific troubleshooting and, once the game is available, change only the options it actually exposes.

This guide separates verified facts from general PC advice. It covers what is known for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Windows PC, iPhone and iPad, and Android; explains a safe way to tune graphics if a PC menu exists; and shows how Windows 11 users with multiple GPUs can check the operating-system preference without treating it as a guaranteed fix.

What is confirmed about Grand Gourmet performance

ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet is announced as a single-player restaurant-management simulation developed by Kairosoft. Bandai Namco says it is coming to Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC through Steam, the App Store and Google Play. A physical standard edition is also listed. The announced release date is October 23, 2026.

Platform What is officially announced Confirmed game-specific performance controls
Nintendo Switch Digital listing and physical standard edition None documented
Nintendo Switch 2 Announced platform None documented
Windows PC Steam release announced None documented before launch
iPhone and iPad App Store release announced None documented
Android Google Play release announced None documented

The official product description mentions more than 400 ONE PIECE characters and more than 200 furniture, building and decorative items. Those are content counts, not measurements of frame rate, loading time or hardware demand. No official source reviewed for this guide publishes a graphics menu, minimum specification, target frame rate, benchmark result or named performance setting for Grand Gourmet.

What to do before the October 23 release

Preparation matters more than hunting for a non-existent “best settings” preset. Use this checklist on the platform you intend to play:

  • Confirm that your console, computer or mobile device is running its current system software.
  • Leave enough free storage for the game and future patches. The final download size has not been stated, so do not rely on an invented figure.
  • On PC, update the graphics driver through your GPU manufacturer’s normal support channel, but keep the previous driver available if a new driver introduces instability.
  • On a phone or tablet, install system updates and close demanding background apps before testing. This is general device maintenance, not a Grand Gourmet-specific requirement.
  • Record your baseline: platform model, operating-system version, display resolution, whether the device is plugged in, and what symptom you are seeing. A baseline makes it possible to tell a real improvement from a different scene or workload.

Do not assume that a Switch menu, a Switch 2 menu and a PC menu will contain the same controls. A game can expose different options by platform, and a mobile build may have no user-facing graphics controls at all.

PC: a safe way to tune settings if the released build exposes them

The following method is general Windows and PC-game troubleshooting, not a confirmed Grand Gourmet configuration. Riot Games Support’s October 7, 2026 guidance notes that setting names vary by game and recommends lowering demanding options gradually, testing, and then restoring individual settings to find a sensible balance. Apply that principle only if the Steam version provides comparable controls.

1. Start with the game’s own preset or quality control

If the menu has Low, Medium, High, Custom or a similar quality selector, note the original value before changing it. Try one lower level, load the same type of gameplay scene, and check whether the problem changes. A preset may alter several variables at once; use it as a quick diagnostic, not proof that every individual option should stay low.

2. Reduce shadows first when they are available

Dynamic shadows can require substantial rendering work. If Grand Gourmet offers shadow quality, shadow distance or a related control, lower it one step rather than jumping immediately to the minimum. Watch for smoother camera movement and fewer brief pauses, then decide whether the visual loss is acceptable. If no shadow option appears, do not look for an unofficial replacement setting.

3. Test effects and particle density

Effects, particles, weather, smoke, lighting effects and similar labels can become expensive when many objects are visible. Reduce one effects-related option, replay a comparable scene, and compare the result. Because the game is a restaurant simulation, the busiest scene may not be the opening area; test during the most populated activity you can reproduce after launch.

4. Lower post-processing carefully

Post-processing may include bloom, depth of field, motion blur, ambient occlusion or color effects, depending on the developer’s terminology. These features can affect image clarity as well as performance. If separate switches exist, disable or lower one at a time so you know which visual effect you are giving up. If the game offers only a combined post-processing slider, move it down a single level and retest.

5. Adjust overall detail or view distance

A detail, environment-quality or view-distance setting can change how much geometry and decoration is drawn. Lowering it may help when performance drops while scrolling across a large restaurant or town, but it can also make distant objects appear simpler. Treat this as a targeted test for scenes that contain many visible objects, not an automatic first choice for every computer.

6. Try anti-aliasing options

Anti-aliasing smooths jagged edges. Different methods have different costs, and the labels may be unfamiliar. If the menu offers several levels or techniques, move down one level and compare moving edges, text and diagonal lines. Keep the change only if it improves responsiveness without making the interface uncomfortable to read.

7. Change texture quality only when memory is the suspected problem

Textures primarily affect video-memory use and image detail. Lowering them can help a system that is running out of graphics memory, but it may provide little benefit when the bottleneck is effects or CPU work. Change texture quality in one step, restart the game only if it asks you to, and look for fewer pauses when new areas load. Do not expect a texture change to guarantee a higher frame rate.

8. Test after every change

Use the same save, location or repeatable activity for each comparison. Spend enough time to encounter the original symptom, then change only one setting. Write down the result. If performance worsens, restore the previous value immediately. This approach prevents a preset change from hiding which option mattered and avoids claiming a gain that came from a different scene.

Windows 11: check which GPU the game is using

A computer with integrated and dedicated graphics can assign different applications to different processors. Microsoft documents a per-app graphics preference in Windows 11. This is an operating-system check, not a confirmed Grand Gourmet fix, and it cannot compensate for an unsupported or unstable driver.

  1. Open Settings in Windows 11.
  2. Go to System, then Display, and open Graphics.
  3. Find the Steam game in the app list. If it is not listed, use the option to add a desktop app and browse to the game’s executable after installation.
  4. Select the app, choose Options, and inspect the available graphics preference, such as letting Windows decide, power saving or high performance.
  5. Choose the preference that matches your goal, save it, and restart the game.
  6. Retest the same scene used for your baseline. If there is no improvement, return to the previous preference rather than assuming the setting is harmless.

The exact labels can vary with Windows updates and hardware. A high-performance selection may increase power use, heat and fan noise, especially on a laptop. Keep the computer connected to its normal power adapter when comparing results, because battery power policies can change behavior independently of the game.

Nintendo Switch and Switch 2: what you can and cannot tune

The announced console versions do not have documented Grand Gourmet graphics settings in the material available before release. Do not expect the PC procedure to apply. If the game launches without a graphics menu, that is a platform design choice rather than a missing driver setting.

For a console-side check, install the latest game update offered by the system, restart the console, and reproduce the problem from a consistent save. If the issue occurs only after long sessions, allow the hardware to cool and make sure its ventilation is unobstructed. These are general troubleshooting steps; they do not establish a particular frame-rate target or guarantee a fix.

Switch and Switch 2 performance may differ because they are separate platform versions, but no official comparison, resolution target or frame-rate figure has been published here. Avoid applying an alleged “best Switch 2 setting” unless the developer documents it in a release note or in-game menu.

iPhone, iPad and Android: mobile-specific cautions

The App Store and Google Play versions are announced, but their graphics controls, supported devices and performance targets have not been documented. Mobile games commonly adapt quality automatically, yet that behavior cannot be assumed for Grand Gourmet before launch.

  • Install the latest store build and operating-system update available for your device.
  • Test while the device is neither unusually hot nor in a restrictive battery-saving mode; thermal and power management can alter any game’s behavior.
  • Close other demanding apps and repeat the same activity after a restart if stutter appears.
  • If an in-game quality, frame-rate or battery option exists, change one control at a time and record the original value.
  • Do not install configuration files or modified packages from unofficial sources. They can create security, save-data and account risks without providing a verified performance benefit.

There is no supported basis for naming an ideal resolution, frame-rate cap or quality preset for iOS or Android. Device model, chip, operating-system version and thermal conditions can all matter, so a setting that helps one phone may not exist or behave the same way on another.

Diagnose the symptom instead of lowering everything

Brief stutters or pauses

First determine whether the pause repeats in the same location. If it does, test effects, detail and texture options individually on PC. If it happens unpredictably, check for background updates, thermal throttling or a storage-related load problem before destroying image quality with a global Low preset.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Persistently low frame rate

Use the gradual order above: preset, shadows, effects, post-processing, detail, anti-aliasing and then textures when memory pressure is plausible. A persistent limitation after those tests may reflect the hardware or the game’s own frame-rate design rather than one setting you have overlooked.

Input feels delayed

Check whether a frame-rate or display option exists and compare the same scene after one change. Do not claim that disabling a particular feature will solve latency unless the released game’s documentation supports it.

Crashes or graphical corruption

Restore custom settings to their defaults, verify the game installation through the platform that supplied it, update or roll back the graphics driver when appropriate, and record the exact error message. If the problem remains, report it through the developer or platform support channel with your hardware and software details. Randomly editing configuration files can make diagnosis harder.

Heat, fan noise or rapid battery drain

Lowering effects or overall quality may reduce workload if those controls exist, but first check airflow, ambient temperature and power mode. On laptops and mobile devices, a high-performance GPU preference can increase heat even when it improves smoothness.

How to verify a real improvement

  1. Choose one repeatable activity, such as opening the same restaurant area or performing the same sequence of menus.
  2. Keep display resolution, power mode and background applications unchanged.
  3. Record the original setting and symptom in plain language.
  4. Change one option by one step.
  5. Repeat the activity for long enough to encounter the problem again.
  6. Keep the change only if responsiveness improves without introducing crashes, unreadable text, excessive heat or unacceptable visual loss.
  7. After finding a stable combination, save a screenshot or written list of the values so a future patch can be compared against it.

Without an official benchmark or a built-in frame-time display, avoid presenting subjective smoothness as a measured FPS result. The most useful report is specific: platform, game version, operating-system version, setting changed, scene tested and symptom before and after.

What is still unknown at launch

The currently available official pages do not establish minimum or recommended PC specifications, a frame-rate target, resolution modes, graphics presets, support for ultrawide displays, shader-compilation behavior, cross-save features or differences among the console and mobile builds. Those details should come from the released game, its patch notes or platform documentation.

Until that information exists, articles or videos that attach exact FPS gains to named Grand Gourmet settings are not supported by the published facts. The product’s character and furniture counts describe scope, not workload, and cannot be used to predict performance on a particular device.

Practical launch-day checklist

  • Install the official release and any day-one update.
  • Open the actual graphics or performance menu, if one exists, and note every default value.
  • Use the one-change-at-a-time method rather than copying an unverified preset.
  • On Windows 11, check the per-app GPU preference only when the machine has multiple graphics processors.
  • On Switch, Switch 2 and mobile, limit advice to controls the build actually exposes.
  • Document crashes, stutters and thermal behavior with platform and version details before contacting support.

As of October 13, 2026, the best-supported answer is therefore a method, not a magic setting: wait for the October 23 release, identify the controls your platform provides, lower demanding options gradually on PC, and verify every change against a repeatable test.
