Omniheroes has different pity rules for each summon mode. Oath Recall guarantees a Divine/Demon 5-Star Legendary Hero within 50 summons and guarantees the event’s selected probability-up hero within that first 50. Oracle uses separate faction counters: 60 summons for Divine/Demon at a documented 2% Legendary rate, or 30 summons for Empire, Woodland or Eclipse at 4%. Advanced Summon documents a 2% Legendary rate and a 60-summon guarantee. Single pulls and ten-pulls both advance pity. Because these figures come from a 14 September 2024 developer Q&A and the Google Play listing shows an update on 20 August 2026, open the live summon-information panel and verify the rules before spending tickets or currency.

What “pity” means in Omniheroes

Pity is the summon counter that protects you from an unusually long run without a high-rarity result. In Omniheroes, the protection is not one universal meter. Oath Recall, Oracle and Advanced Summon each have their own rules, rates and guarantee thresholds. A counter can also be tied to a faction or a group of event heroes, so the banner you use matters as much as the number of pulls you have saved.

The documented thresholds describe when a 5-Star Legendary result must occur, not how many copies of a hero you receive. A guarantee also does not make every pull Legendary: summons before the threshold still use the banner’s stated probability table. Always read the current panel for the event’s ticket type, currency cost, reward milestones and any wording that differs from the published rules.

Oath Recall: the strongest targeted guarantee

Legendary guarantee at 50 summons

Oath Recall guarantees a Divine/Demon 5-Star Legendary Hero within a maximum of 50 summons. The developer’s wording is explicit: after no more than 50 Oath Recall summons, you obtain a Divine/Demon 5-Star Legendary Hero. Both single summons and ten-summons count toward this threshold.

How the UP-hero rule works

At the beginning of an Oath Recall event, you select the probability-up (UP) hero from the event’s eligible choices. That selected hero is guaranteed within the first 50 summons under the documented event rule. When a Legendary appears, the base chance that it is the selected UP hero is 50%. If the Legendary is not the UP hero, the next Legendary is guaranteed to be the UP hero. The developer describes the resulting overall share of UP heroes among Legendary results as 66.7%.

The 50% figure is therefore not a promise that every Legendary is the selected hero. It is the initial UP outcome chance; the follow-up guarantee applies after a non-UP Legendary. Keep the two ideas separate when estimating how many copies you might obtain.

Carryover and the six Oath Recall heroes

Unfinished Oath Recall pity carries into later Oath Recall events. The six Oath Recall Legendary heroes use the same guarantee counter, so changing your selected hero does not erase progress already recorded on that shared counter. For example, if you stop partway through an event, the documented rule allows that progress to remain available in a future Oath Recall event rather than forcing you to start at zero.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Carryover applies to the Oath Recall guarantee described above; it does not merge the counter with Oracle or Advanced Summon. Before an event closes, record your current Oath Recall count and confirm the next event still presents the same counter in its summon-information panel.

Free summons and rebate milestones

Oath Recall provides one free summon per day during the event, for seven free summons in total. The daily chance resets at 00:00 UTC, so a player who misses the reset window may lose that day’s free opportunity. Claim the free pull before spending paid tickets when possible, because it advances the same Oath Recall count.

The developer announcement lists Hero Selection rewards at 300 and 400 summons. Earlier milestones at 30, 60, 100, 130, 160 and 200 summons remain in the schedule described by that announcement. These are rebate or selection rewards in addition to the 50-summon Legendary guarantee; they do not change the 50-summon pity threshold.

Oracle Summon: faction selection with independent counters

Oracle lets you target a faction, but its pity is split into four separate counters. The counters are calculated independently and cannot be shared. Progress made before update 2.18.0 was stated to carry over.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
Oracle faction group Documented 5-Star Legendary rate Guarantee threshold Counter relationship
Divine/Demon 2% 60 summons Independent from the other three Oracle counters
Empire 4% 30 summons Independent
Woodland 4% 30 summons Independent
Eclipse 4% 30 summons Independent

“Independent” means progress on one faction’s Oracle meter does not reduce the remaining summons on another faction’s meter. If you switch from Empire to Woodland, for example, the Woodland counter is the one that applies; the Empire progress is not converted into Woodland progress. Choose a faction only after checking its own counter and the current event’s shop or rebate rewards.

Advanced Summon: the broad general pool

Advanced Summon is documented at a 2% 5-Star Legendary rate with a 60-summon guarantee. The developer also stated that progress from before update 2.18.0 carries over. Unlike Oath Recall, Advanced Summon is not described in the announcement as offering a selected UP-hero guarantee. Treat it as the general-pool option unless the live banner panel specifies a temporary event rule.

Advanced Summon’s 60-summon guarantee is separate from Oracle’s counters and from Oath Recall. Saving Advanced tickets does not build Oath Recall or Oracle pity, and spending an Oath Recall ticket does not advance Advanced Summon.

Side-by-side comparison

Summon mode Documented Legendary rate Legendary guarantee Targeting Carryover or sharing
Oath Recall Not stated as one overall rate in the cited announcement; Legendary outcomes use a 50% base UP chance Divine/Demon 5-Star Legendary within 50 summons Selected UP hero guaranteed within the first 50; after a non-UP Legendary, the next Legendary is UP Unfinished pity carries to future Oath Recall events; six Oath Recall heroes share one counter
Oracle: Divine/Demon 2% 60 summons Faction selection Separate from the other Oracle faction counters; pre-update progress stated to carry over
Oracle: Empire, Woodland or Eclipse 4% 30 summons Faction selection Each faction counter is independent; pre-update progress stated to carry over
Advanced Summon 2% 60 summons Broad general pool; no selected UP guarantee documented Pre-update progress stated to carry over; separate from Oath Recall and Oracle

The rates and thresholds in this table are documented rules, not a guarantee that every future event will use identical wording. A live banner can add a rebate, alter eligible heroes or display a different counter, so verify the in-game panel at the time of summoning.

Do single pulls and ten-pulls affect pity differently?

No difference is documented for pity counting: both one-at-a-time summons and ten-summon batches count toward the relevant guarantee. The choice is therefore about control and convenience rather than a separate pity advantage.

  • Use singles when you want to stop immediately after a Legendary, preserve tickets, or carefully reach a milestone without overshooting it.
  • Use ten-pulls when the event interface makes batches faster and you already intend to spend the full batch. The batch still contributes its individual summons to the counter.
  • Check the panel for any batch discount, bonus item or animation rule. No universal discount or extra Legendary guarantee is established by the documented pity rules.

How to plan summons step by step

1. Identify the banner and its counter

Open the summon screen, choose the event tab, and open the summon-info or probability-details panel. Confirm whether you are viewing Oath Recall, Oracle or Advanced Summon. Do not infer the counter from a different tab.

2. Write down your current progress

Record the displayed pity count, the ticket or currency required for one summon, and any free pull available. For Oracle, record the faction as well as the number because the four counters are independent. For Oath Recall, note that the counter belongs to the shared group of six Oath Recall Legendary heroes.

3. Match the mode to your objective

Choose Oath Recall when the selected UP hero is your priority and you can use its 50-summon guarantee. Choose Oracle when a particular faction is more valuable to your roster and that faction’s independent counter is close to its threshold. Use Advanced Summon for general-pool recruiting or when its current rebate makes better use of your tickets.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

4. Include free pulls before budgeting paid pulls

During Oath Recall, claim the daily free summon and remember the 00:00 UTC reset. The seven documented free summons reduce the number of paid summons needed to reach a target, provided they are claimed before the event ends.

5. Check milestone economics

Review the event’s visible reward track before committing. Oath Recall’s documented rewards include Hero Selection at 300 and 400 summons plus the earlier 30, 60, 100, 130, 160 and 200 milestones. Oracle and Advanced rewards can vary by event; use only the schedule currently displayed.

6. Stop or continue deliberately

If you obtain the desired Legendary early, singles let you stop without starting another batch. If you are relying on carryover, leave the unfinished count recorded and verify it on the next matching banner. Never assume that changing summon modes transfers progress.

Common mistakes and how to avoid them

Confusing a Legendary guarantee with a hero guarantee

Oracle and Advanced Summon guarantee a 5-Star Legendary at their stated thresholds, but the cited rules do not promise a particular hero. Oath Recall is the documented exception because its selected UP hero is guaranteed within the first 50 under the event rule.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Combining Oracle factions

Oracle counters cannot be shared. A high count on Divine/Demon does not make an Empire, Woodland or Eclipse summon closer to pity. Check the selected faction every time you change tabs.

Assuming all banners carry over together

Carryover is mode-specific. Oath Recall’s unfinished counter carries to future Oath Recall events, while Oracle and Advanced progress were stated to carry over from before update 2.18.0 within their own systems. None of these statements creates a single cross-mode meter.

Ignoring the event clock

The Oath Recall free summon resets at 00:00 UTC, not necessarily at your local midnight. Event shops and rebate tracks can also close when the banner ends, so claim rewards and capture your final counter before the deadline.

Relying on an old guide

Omniheroes’ summon rules have changed. In April 2023, the developer said Hall of Heroes Legendary rates had been increased and that the Wishlist reset time and guarantee mechanism were canceled. That history means a guide without an update date may describe a system that no longer exists.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

What is known about costs and purchases?

The cited rules establish rates, counters and Oath Recall milestones, but they do not provide a universal ticket price or a permanent currency cost for every banner. Prices and bundles can depend on the live event, platform and region. Treat any purchase as an in-app transaction involving random items, and use the amount shown in Omniheroes at checkout rather than a figure copied from an older guide.

Before buying, compare the number of summons a pack actually grants with your recorded pity count and the event’s remaining days. A pack that leaves you just short of a guarantee may have a different value from one that reaches a displayed milestone, but neither outcome changes the probability rules.

Rules change: how to verify the live version

The documented figures originate in OmniDream Games’ developer Q&A for update 2.18.0 on 14 September 2024. The Google Play listing reports that the app was updated on 20 August 2026, so the Q&A should be treated as a dated reference rather than a permanent specification.

  1. Open the current summon banner in the game.
  2. Tap the summon-info, probability or details button.
  3. Confirm the Legendary rate, guarantee number, selected-hero wording and counter shown for that banner.
  4. Check whether the event lists carryover, free pulls, faction separation or rebate milestones.
  5. Save a screenshot or written count before leaving the event screen.

If the in-game panel conflicts with an older announcement, follow the current panel for spending decisions and note the version or event date. This is especially important after a major update or a banner redesign.

Practical decision framework

Your goal Most relevant system What to verify first
Obtain a specific event UP hero Oath Recall Selected hero, current shared counter and summons remaining to 50
Build around one faction Oracle Correct faction tab, its independent counter and its 2% or 4% rate
Use general-pool tickets Advanced Summon Current 2%/60-summon display and any active rebate
Maximize event rewards Whichever banner has the relevant track Milestone totals, event end time and whether rewards are one-time

This framework does not predict which hero will appear before pity. It simply aligns the documented protection and reward structure with the reason you are summoning.

Bottom line

Oath Recall is the targeted option: a Divine/Demon 5-Star Legendary is guaranteed within 50 summons, the selected UP hero is guaranteed within that first 50 under the documented event rule, and unfinished pity carries to future Oath Recall events across the six-hero group. Oracle trades a faction target for separate counters—60 summons at 2% for Divine/Demon, or 30 summons at 4% for Empire, Woodland and Eclipse. Advanced Summon documents 2% and a 60-summon guarantee without a stated selected-hero guarantee. Singles and ten-pulls both count, but every rate, reward and carryover condition should be confirmed in the live summon-info panel before you spend.
