Bandai announced officially licensed Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair boxer briefs featuring Hajime Hinata and Nagito Komaeda. Reservations opened October 9, 2026, and are scheduled to close November 9, with delivery planned for February 2027. That is the merchandise delivery window—not the release date of the separate game Danganronpa 2×2.
What the official Danganronpa 2 underwear looks like
Bandai’s announcement describes two boxer-brief designs based on underwear designs from the game: one featuring Hajime Hinata and one featuring Nagito Komaeda. These are licensed character merchandise, not a newly announced game feature. The designs are tied to Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, whose murder-mystery story follows students investigating crimes and using evidence in class trials. Spike Chunsoft’s game page provides the official premise. [c001] [c003]
When reservations open and when the briefs are expected to arrive
Bandai’s October 9, 2026 announcement gives a reservation period of October 9 through November 9, 2026, with delivery planned for February 2027. The announcement cautions that reservations may end early if the available quantity is reached and that product terms can change, so check the seller’s live listing for current status. [c001]

Bandai lists the briefs at ¥3,960 including tax, with shipping and handling charged separately. The listed material is 100% polyester, and the stated minimum age is 15. The available choices are men’s M and L and women’s M and L. The announcement includes waist and hip measurements; consult the live listing for the exact measurements for each option rather than choosing by the letter size alone. Bandai notes that textile sizing can vary and that print differences may occur in production. [c001]

Where to buy the official boxer briefs
The announcement names BanColle!, Bandai’s character-fashion shop on Premium Bandai, as the reservation channel. It says other sales routes had not been decided at the time of publication. It does not confirm an Amazon listing. Before ordering, verify current stock, shipping availability for your location, size measurements, and the seller’s terms on the live product page. [c001]
Do not confuse the merchandise delivery with Danganronpa 2×2
Danganronpa 2×2 is a separate upcoming game, not the source of the briefs’ 2027 delivery date. Spike Chunsoft lists the game for January 14, 2027, on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Epic Games Store. The publisher describes an updated presentation of the original Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair story alongside a new scenario in the same setting and with the same cast, but with different victims, culprits and tricks. See Spike Chunsoft’s official Danganronpa 2×2 page. [c002]

These are separate items from the wearable boxer briefs; check the seller listing for their current availability and terms. [c001]
What Bandai said about the series’ reach
Bandai’s October 9, 2026 announcement says the Danganronpa series had passed 10 million cumulative shipments worldwide. Bandai does not provide a methodology or precise as-of date for that figure in the announcement, so it should be understood as the company’s reported shipment milestone, not an independently audited sales total.
