The advertised lowest PC price for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered cannot be confirmed on October 13, 2026. An indexed US Steam listing recorded a 30% promotion at $34.99, reduced from $49.99, but that offer ended October 8. Bethesda’s official deals page showed no active promotion when checked. Verify the live Steam price and a complete base-game price history before treating any current offer as the lowest ever.
What game is being sold?
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is a PC role-playing game released on April 22, 2025. Bethesda Game Studios and Virtuos developed it, and Bethesda Softworks published it. Steam’s official description says the remaster “modernizes the 2006 Game of the Year with all new stunning visuals and refined gameplay.”
The Adoring Fan is a character from the game, but the character reference does not change which product a price comparison should cover: the standard digital PC game, not a console disc, a physical collectible or a separate upgrade.
What happened to the reported PC discount?
The indexed US Steam page showed the base game at $34.99, down from $49.99 (30% off). Steam’s listing gave October 8, 2026 as the promotion’s end date. Because the headline date is October 13, that price is historical evidence of a recently expired sale, not confirmation of a deal available now.
#1 Best Overall
Steam can display different currencies and prices by account region. The page opened in a euro locale displayed €54.99; that figure must not be reported as the US price. Check the store while signed into the relevant country before publishing or buying: Steam listing.
Bethesda’s deals page showed no current promotion at the time of checking: Bethesda deals.
Why “lowest price” is not established
A May 31, 2025 report from PC Gamer described a $40/£40 offer at 20% off as the cheapest price at that time. That was a contemporary statement, not an all-time price-history claim through October 2026: PC Gamer’s 2025 report.

Another commonly quoted number is $7.49 on June 25, 2026, but SteamDB identifies that record as the separate Deluxe Upgrade, not the base game. It cannot be used to claim that the full PC game reached $7.49: SteamDB Deluxe Upgrade history.
For a defensible deal headline, compare the same product and record all of the following:
- Store and platform (for example, Steam on PC).
- Country and currency.
- Standard or Deluxe edition.
- Current price, list price and discount percentage.
- Promotion end date.
- Whether the listing is the base game or only a Deluxe Upgrade.
PC digital game versus physical Deluxe Edition
Bethesda’s physical Deluxe Edition is a console product for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, not a boxed PC edition. The disc provides access to the base game, but an additional download is required. Bethesda’s October 13, 2025 announcement said the edition was then available in North America, South America and Europe, with availability in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan scheduled for October 31, 2025. Regional availability in that announcement reflects the date it was published and should not be treated as a current stock statement.

What the Adoring Fan merchandise costs
The Adoring Fan Plush by YouTooz is an optional physical collectible. The official Bethesda Gear Store listed it at $29.99 USD when accessed: Bethesda Gear Store’s Oblivion collection. That listing does not establish Amazon stock, delivery availability or affiliate eligibility, and the plush is not required to play the PC game.
How to verify the deal before you buy
- Open the Steam listing while signed into the country whose price you intend to report.
- Confirm that the product title is the base game, rather than a Deluxe Upgrade or add-on.
- Record the displayed currency, sale price, list price and promotion end date.
- Check a reliable price-history record for the same base-game app and region.
- Compare the live result with the historical low only after matching edition, platform and currency.
- If the promotion has ended or the history is incomplete, describe the price as observed or recently discounted—not as the lowest ever.
The practical verdict for October 13, 2026
The documented $34.99 Steam offer was a 30% US discount that ended five days earlier. The available evidence does not prove that Oblivion Remastered is currently at its lowest PC price, and the $7.49 record belongs to a different product. A current article should therefore direct readers to verify the live regional Steam listing and base-game history rather than promise a deal that the cited promotion no longer supports.
