There is no evidence-based overall winner between the REDMAGIC 11 Pro and iQOO 15. The better buy depends on whether you value REDMAGIC’s active cooling, physical shoulder triggers and headphone jack, or iQOO’s higher-resolution 144Hz display, graphics-focused auxiliary chip and faster advertised charging. Both official specifications name Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, but that shared label does not prove equal sustained performance. The models, regional software, network approvals, warranty, stock and prices can differ, so compare the exact SKU sold where you live.
This guide uses the manufacturers’ current product information available in 2026. It separates published specifications and marketing claims from questions that require independent, matched testing.
First, define the comparison
“RedMagic vs iQOO” is too broad to answer as a brand question. The official pages used for this comparison identify the REDMAGIC 11 Pro and iQOO 15. A different RedMagic generation, an iQOO Pro or Ultra variant, or a China-only and global model can have different radios, batteries, chargers, software and protection ratings.

That is a snapshot, not proof that every market lacks stock. iQOO’s global parameter page is available, but local inventory, pricing and network approval were not established here. Treat availability as a purchase check rather than a specification.

At-a-glance specifications
| Buying question | REDMAGIC 11 Pro | iQOO 15 | What the figures do—and do not—tell you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main processor | Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5; REDMAGIC also advertises a RedCore R4 gaming chip | Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5; iQOO describes a Supercomputing Chip Q3 as a mobile graphics chip | The named application processor is the same. Auxiliary-chip descriptions are vendor claims, not a matched performance test. |
| Cooling | AquaCore system combining flowing liquid cooling, a vapor chamber and a turbo fan | 8K single-layer VC cooling system | The designs are different. No independent side-by-side thermal test of these two phones was established. |
| Battery and charging | 7,500mAh; 80W wired and wireless charging listed | 7,000mAh typical capacity; 100W charging listed | Capacity and charging ratings are manufacturer figures. Endurance and charge time vary with conditions and regional accessories. |
| Display | 2,688 × 1,216 BOE X10 AMOLED | 6.85-inch, 3,168 × 1,440 AMOLED with 144Hz refresh rate | Resolution and refresh-rate figures favor different priorities; brightness, touch response and calibration still need checking on the local model. |
| Game controls and audio | 520Hz shoulder-trigger touch sampling, Game Space and a 3.5mm headphone jack | Gaming software and graphics features are described, but a physical-trigger specification is not stated on the cited global page | Triggers can change how shooters and driving games feel. A jack may matter if you use wired low-latency audio. |
| Protection claims | IPX8 under controlled laboratory conditions; the air duct can allow dust entry | IP68 and IP69 listed on the global parameters page | These are not interchangeable guarantees against drops, corrosion or liquid damage. Confirm the local qualification and warranty. |
All entries above are manufacturer-published specifications or descriptions. “Not stated” means the cited official material did not establish a comparable value, not that the feature is absent.
Sustained gaming performance: what can be inferred
The shared Snapdragon platform
Both phones list Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. That gives them the same named foundation for CPU and GPU workloads, but it does not make their gaming experience identical. Sustained frame rate depends on power limits, firmware scheduling, cooling contact, ambient temperature, game patches, display resolution and whether a performance mode is enabled.
REDMAGIC additionally names its RedCore R4 gaming chip. iQOO describes its Supercomputing Chip Q3 as a mobile graphics chip. Those descriptions explain each company’s design intent; they do not establish that one auxiliary chip produces higher frame rates, lower latency or better image quality in the other phone’s games.
Cooling architecture
REDMAGIC advertises an “AquaCore” arrangement that combines flowing liquid cooling, a vapor chamber and a turbo fan. iQOO advertises an “8K Single Layer VC Cooling System.” A fan-assisted design may have more active heat-removal hardware, while a large vapor-chamber design can prioritize silent operation and simpler handling. Neither conclusion is a measured result for these particular models.
For long sessions, look for independent tests that run the same game, graphics preset, frame-rate cap, room temperature and brightness on both phones. A short benchmark or a single first-match result cannot answer whether performance remains stable after 30, 60 or 120 minutes.

How to read the published frame-rate comparison
REDMAGIC reproduces a REDMAGIC Labs comparison on its UK product page for a 120-minute Genshin Impact session. The page reports average frame rates of 60.9 versus 59.6 frames per second, frame-rate variance of 0.5 versus 6.5 frames per second, and battery consumption of 27% versus 49% for the named competing device. It is a vendor-reported comparison, not an independent test of the iQOO 15, so it must not be presented as a RedMagic-versus-iQOO result.
Use that material only to understand the type of evidence REDMAGIC considers important: long-session stability and power use. Ask who the comparison phone was, which software versions were installed and whether the test settings matched before drawing any buying conclusion.

iQOO’s resolution and refresh-rate emphasis
iQOO lists a 6.85-inch AMOLED panel with 3,168 × 1,440 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This combination is attractive for fine text, high-resolution game assets and smooth scrolling when an application can render above 120Hz. Higher resolution can also increase rendering work and power demand, so a game’s own resolution scale and frame-rate mode matter more than the headline number.
REDMAGIC’s panel specification
REDMAGIC lists a 2,688 × 1,216 BOE X10 AMOLED display. That is a different pixel target, not automatically a lower-quality gaming screen. Response tuning, touch sampling, brightness in a bright room, PWM behavior, color mode and the way the front camera is integrated can affect play more than pixel count.
Questions to check in a shop or return window
- Does your main game offer a 120Hz or 144Hz mode, and does it hold that rate during a long match?
- Can you see the screen clearly at your usual outdoor brightness without aggressive heat or battery drain?
- Do touch targets near the edges register reliably with your case and grip?
- Is the camera cutout, under-display camera area or status-bar treatment in the way of the HUD?
- Does the local firmware expose the refresh-rate and color controls shown in reviews of another region?
Controls, audio and game-oriented software
When shoulder triggers matter
REDMAGIC’s Singapore specifications list 520Hz shoulder-trigger touch sampling, along with Game Space. Physical capacitive triggers let you map aiming, firing, braking or other actions without lifting a thumb from an analog control. They are especially useful in competitive shooters, racing games and action titles with several simultaneous inputs. They add less value in turn-based games, card games or titles that do not support a comfortable mapping.

- Two Screens, More Control: Large 6.78” curved main display for streaming, gaming, and browsing, plus a smaller, rear screen for quick selfies, messages, and music controls.
- Smooth Performance: Handles your favorite apps, games, and multitasking without slowing down, with plenty of space for all your photos and videos.

- All-Day Battery: Stay powered all day with our 5,000mAh battery, and recharge in a flash with our 66W quick charge technology that tops you up from 0 to 100% in just 20 minutes.
Trigger sampling is not the same as a guaranteed end-to-end latency figure. Touch processing, game polling, network delay and display response still determine when an action appears on screen.
iQOO’s software and graphics approach
The iQOO material emphasizes gaming software and graphics features around its Q3 chip, but the cited global parameters do not state an equivalent physical-trigger specification. If you rely on rear or shoulder controls, confirm the exact iQOO model in person or in a regional manual rather than assuming a brand-wide feature.
Headphones and speakers
The REDMAGIC 11 Pro specification includes a 3.5mm audio jack. That can be useful for wired in-ear monitors, analog headsets and users who want to avoid Bluetooth codec delay or battery management. The cited iQOO pages do not establish a comparable analog jack. Check connector, USB audio behavior, microphone routing and speaker placement on the local device if audio is central to your games.
Battery capacity, charging and travel
REDMAGIC lists a 7,500mAh battery and 80W wired and wireless charging. iQOO lists a 7,000mAh typical capacity and 100W charging. These are not directly comparable endurance results: “typical” capacity can be labeled differently from a rated or nominal figure, and charging wattage describes a peak capability under the maker’s conditions.
Before buying, verify four practical details:
- What is in the box? The regional charger, cable and plug can differ from the phone shown on a global page.
- Which charging methods are enabled? Confirm whether the advertised modes are wired, wireless or both on your SKU, and whether a proprietary charger is required to reach the maximum.
- How does the phone behave while charging? Some gaming modes bypass or limit battery charging to reduce heat; look for the setting in the local Game Space or gaming dashboard.
- What is your actual workload? Measure one full session using your games, brightness, network and frame-rate settings. A larger cell does not guarantee longer life if the display and performance limits are more demanding.
Durability and protection claims
REDMAGIC says the 11 Pro achieved IPX8 in controlled laboratory conditions and warns that dust may enter its air duct. The “X” indicates that the cited rating does not make a dust-protection level claim. The rating also does not cover every form of impact, salt water, contaminants, aging seals or damage caused by accessories.

iQOO’s global parameter page lists IP68 and IP69. Those are separate ingress-test classifications, not a promise that a dropped or repaired phone remains sealed. Regional certification, warranty exclusions and the exact port, speaker and cooling design should control your decision near water or dust.
For either model, keep the charging port dry, do not deliberately submerge the phone, and treat a water-resistance rating as a limited laboratory qualification rather than insurance against liquid damage.

Cameras
The cited official material does not provide a matched camera comparison for the REDMAGIC 11 Pro and iQOO 15. If photography is important, compare full-resolution samples from the same scene, autofocus behavior, stabilization, night mode, front-camera quality and video limits for the exact regional firmware. Do not infer camera quality from the gaming chipset or display.
Software support
The available pages establish gaming features but do not establish a verified, identical Android-version or security-update timetable for both phones. Ask the seller or regional support channel for the promised update period, bootloader policy, banking-app compatibility, Android Auto behavior and whether the global software differs from a domestic edition.

Size, weight and comfort
The supplied specifications do not establish a directly comparable weight or thickness. Gaming phones can feel substantial once a case, cooler or grip is attached. Hold each model in your normal two-thumb position, check whether the fan or camera area warms your fingers, and make sure the trigger locations suit your hand span.

Connectivity and warranty
Carrier compatibility is particularly important for an imported or newly launched model. Verify supported 4G and 5G bands, VoLTE and VoWiFi certification, eSIM or dual-SIM behavior, emergency-calling support and whether the device is approved by your network. Confirm who handles warranty repairs in your country; a global product page does not automatically provide local service.
Which phone fits which buyer?
Choose REDMAGIC 11 Pro when
- You play long, demanding sessions and specifically want an active fan-plus-liquid cooling design.
- Physical shoulder triggers are useful for your shooters, racers or action games.
- You use wired headphones and want a 3.5mm jack.
- The local model’s battery and charging bundle meet your travel needs.
- You have confirmed stock, carrier approval and warranty support despite the global-store availability warning.
Choose iQOO 15 when
- You prefer the listed 6.85-inch, 3,168 × 1,440 AMOLED display and 144Hz refresh rate.
- You want the manufacturer’s Q3 graphics-chip features and a 100W charging specification, subject to local implementation.
- The iQOO software, camera results and network support are better documented for your market.
- IP68 and IP69 are meaningful to your use case after checking the regional warranty terms.
Wait for independent testing or reassess when
- Your decision depends on sustained frame rate, surface temperature, fan noise or battery drain rather than headline specifications.
- You need a camera, update-policy or local-value verdict that the official pages do not establish.
- The only available listing is an imported SKU with unclear bands, charger, software or repair coverage.
A practical pre-purchase checklist
- Write down the exact model name, memory configuration and region.
- Compare the seller’s model number with the manufacturer’s regional specification page.
- Check current stock and return terms; do not rely on an old launch listing.
- Confirm every carrier band and network approval with your operator.
- Confirm battery labeling, charger wattage, wireless-charging support and box contents for that SKU.
- Test your three most-played games at the intended resolution and frame-rate mode.
- Look for a long-session independent test with identical settings if sustained performance is decisive.
- Read the local warranty’s exclusions for liquid, dust, fan openings, imported units and unauthorized repairs.
- Compare total delivered cost, including taxes, charger replacement, case and possible service shipping.
- Buy from a seller that clearly identifies the regional firmware and provides a usable return window.
Bottom line for the comparison
REDMAGIC 11 Pro is the more specialized choice on paper: its active AquaCore cooling claim, shoulder triggers, Game Space and 3.5mm jack target dedicated mobile gaming. iQOO 15 presents a more display-forward specification with a 144Hz high-resolution AMOLED panel, Q3 graphics features, a 7,000mAh typical battery and 100W charging claim. Neither specification set proves a universal winner, and the cited material does not provide a matched independent test of the two phones.
Choose only after matching the exact regional SKU to your games, comfort, carrier, warranty and budget. If those checks are equal, let your priority decide: controls and active cooling point toward REDMAGIC; screen resolution, refresh rate and charging emphasis point toward iQOO.
