The Nothing Phone (3a) is the lower-priced choice in the comparison snapshot, while the realme P4 Pro 5G has the stronger listed display and battery specifications. The clearest deciding trade-off is Nothing’s 2× optical telephoto camera versus realme’s larger 7000mAh battery and 80W charging. The comparison lists the Nothing at ₹24,999 and the realme at ₹28,999, a ₹4,000 gap, but those are not guaranteed live prices and the listed offers may not be the same RAM and storage configuration.

Price difference: Nothing is ₹4,000 lower in the listed snapshot

91mobiles lists the Nothing Phone (3a) at ₹24,999 and the realme P4 Pro at ₹28,999 in its comparison page, accessed on October 7, 2026. Where the realme P4 Pro has the advantage

Display resolution and refresh rate

The realme’s listed 1280 × 2800 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate are higher than the Nothing’s 1080 × 2392 and 120Hz. That gives realme the stronger spec-sheet case if you value a sharper, higher-refresh display. The panel is also slightly larger at 6.8 inches versus 6.77 inches. These numbers do not establish which screen looks better in everyday use; the realme’s official product page calls its panel a 144Hz HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display.

Chipset

The realme uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the Nothing uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The realme has the newer and higher-numbered chipset in this comparison, but that alone does not prove how much faster it will feel in a specific app, game, or daily task.

Where the Nothing Phone (3a) stands out

Optical telephoto camera

Nothing lists a 50MP telephoto camera with 2× optical zoom; its official page also describes 4× lossless zoom. The realme comparison listing includes a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide camera, but no telephoto camera. If you often frame distant subjects or want a dedicated zoom camera, this is the most distinct hardware reason to prefer the Nothing. Megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.

Lower listed price and reported security support

At the comparison snapshot’s prices, the Nothing costs ₹4,000 less. 91mobiles also reports six years of security updates for Nothing versus four for realme, with three years of OS updates for both. Treat those durations as the comparison source’s summary rather than a confirmed current manufacturer commitment: check each brand’s current support terms and how the period is counted before buying on that basis.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the Nothing Phone (3a) if

  • Its live price is meaningfully lower for the same RAM and storage tier.
  • You want the listed 2× optical telephoto camera.
  • The longer security-update duration reported by 91mobiles matters to you, and you have verified Nothing’s current official terms.

Choose the realme P4 Pro 5G if

  • You prioritize its higher listed display resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
  • You want the larger rated battery and faster stated charging.
  • The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform is a priority, while recognizing that chipset naming alone is not a real-world performance test.

What to check before checkout

  • Match RAM and storage capacity; the comparison’s 128GB baseline does not establish that the displayed offers use the same configuration.
  • Confirm the current price, seller, and stock on the live listing. The comparison snapshot shows Nothing at Amazon and realme at Flipkart.
  • Review the applicable return and warranty terms, box contents, and included charging adapter for the exact variant and seller.
  • Check whether the realme’s curved display suits your grip and viewing preferences.
  • Verify current software-update commitments directly with the manufacturers if support duration is part of your decision.

Are the published performance and battery-test figures decisive?

91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 3,311 for the Nothing and 3,556 for the realme, plus battery-test durations of 14 hours and 17 hours 17 minutes, respectively. These are 91mobiles-published figures, not tests conducted for this article. They should not be treated as guaranteed results for all users: test methodology, phone configuration, and usage conditions affect what the numbers mean. The stated capacities and camera hardware provide clearer specification-level distinctions than a test figure without its conditions.
