Both offer 120 Hz AMOLED-class displays. A third-party price snapshot showed the Nothing listed ₹1,809 higher, but it is not a verified, like-for-like current price comparison.

Which phone has the more flexible camera setup?

Nothing: a dedicated 3× optical periscope

Nothing lists a 50 MP periscope camera with optical image stabilization and 3× optical zoom, alongside a 50 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide. That gives the camera system a clearly specified telephoto option for framing distant subjects without relying only on digital cropping.

Samsung: triple rear cameras with OIS

Samsung describes a triple rear-camera setup with OIS and a 12 MP front camera. The inspected product information does not provide the same level of detail about the rear sensors here, so the camera count alone cannot establish how its focal-length options compare.

The Nothing’s periscope is a documented hardware advantage if optical reach matters to you. It does not prove that the phone takes better photographs overall: comparable image samples or independent camera testing would be needed to judge detail, color, night shots and processing.

Which has the better screen and battery specifications?

Display size and refresh rate

Nothing specifies a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh; Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display at 120 Hz. The Nothing is slightly larger by the stated diagonal, while both manufacturers specify a high-refresh AMOLED-class panel. These figures do not establish which screen is brighter or looks better in use.

Battery capacity and charging

Samsung lists a 6,000 mAh typical battery, compared with Nothing’s 5,000 mAh, so Samsung has the higher stated capacity. Nothing specifies 50 W charging and Samsung 45 W. Capacity and charging wattage do not establish real-world battery life or charging time; those depend on usage, conditions and other factors, and the reviewed sources do not provide comparable independent measurements.

What is known about software support and performance?

Samsung publishes a security-update end date

Samsung’s India product page states that security updates for the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G are valid until July 31, 2032. The captured Nothing product page does not state a directly comparable support term, so the available information is insufficient to rank the phones by support duration.

Chipset names are not a performance test

The listed processors are Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 for Nothing and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for Samsung. Those labels alone do not show how the phones perform in apps, games or sustained workloads. The comparison page reports that the Samsung had not yet received an expert review and supplies no Samsung benchmark result, so a tested performance winner is not established.

What is the price difference?

On October 7, 2026, the 91mobiles comparison page showed Amazon prices of ₹27,999 for the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro and ₹26,190 for the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G—a displayed difference of ₹1,809, with Nothing higher. This is a dated third-party listing snapshot, not an official price or a guaranteed current deal. The page’s configuration context may not match across the two entries.

There is also an availability caveat: Samsung’s inspected official India page for the 8 GB/256 GB model displayed “Not for sale” and did not render a usable price. Before deciding on value, compare retailer listings on the same day for matching RAM and storage, and check the seller, stock and any discount or exchange conditions. The snapshot is available on 91mobiles’ comparison page.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Choose the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro if the dedicated 3× optical periscope is the feature you value most, or you prefer its specified 50 W charging and slightly larger screen.
  • Consider the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if a higher stated battery capacity or Samsung’s published security-update end date matters more to you, and you can confirm availability and a suitable price for the configuration you want.
  • Wait to compare further if your choice depends on camera quality, measured endurance or performance. The cited specifications and comparison snapshot do not provide equivalent independent tests for those questions.
