NotePilot AI is described by its builder as a web application that turns study material into summaries, quizzes, and flashcards. Its project description outlines a browser-based frontend and a Java Spring Boot backend that sends requests to Google’s hosted Gemini API. Those details are author-reported, not an independent assessment of the live service.
What NotePilot AI is designed to do
Builder Parshith Kumar S. presents NotePilot AI as a study aid: a student provides study material, and the application generates three kinds of review content. The project description names these outputs:
- Summaries: Condense lengthy notes into shorter summaries.
- Quizzes: Create questions from study material to help students check their understanding.
- Flashcards: Convert notes into cards for quick revision.
The description does not establish which file or text formats the application accepts, how much material it can process, or whether users can edit, save, or export generated materials.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsHow the described application works
The author describes a browser frontend built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It sends study material to a Java and Spring Boot backend, which communicates with Gemini and returns generated content. The author says the API key is kept on the backend rather than exposed in the browser.

The project post identifies Google’s hosted Gemini API as the model service used in the described implementation, rather than an open-weight model. That means the described generation flow relies on an external service and is subject to its availability and usage limits. The post does not confirm whether the current deployed application still uses that configuration.
What is and is not established
The project description is an introduction by the builder, not an independent product evaluation. It identifies Render and Cloudflare Workers as deployment platforms and says the project has a public GitHub repository, but the repository contents and present-day deployment were not independently verified.

The available description does not establish current pricing, signup requirements, privacy or data-retention practices, terms of service, supported regions, usage limits, input formats, or whether the service is currently available. In particular, keeping an API key on a backend does not by itself explain how submitted notes are stored or handled. Check the service’s current terms and privacy information before uploading material that is confidential, personal, or institutionally restricted.
How to judge whether it fits your study routine
The stated features may be useful as a starting point for review, but generated material should be checked against the original notes. A summary can leave out context, and a quiz question or flashcard can misstate a concept. The project description provides no measured evidence about accuracy or learning outcomes.
