Which Nintendo Switch 2 bundle should you buy? Choose based on the game you actually want and the live checkout price: Nintendo lists the Mario Kart World bundle at $549.99, has announced a $529.99 Nintendo Switch Sports Resort bundle for October 22, 2026, and describes a limited-time $499.99 Choose Your Game offer with three possible digital games. Availability differs, and Nintendo’s stated savings are comparisons with separate suggested retail prices—not guaranteed savings at every retailer.

Which Nintendo Switch 2 bundle should I buy?
Choose Mario Kart World if it is the game you want
At $549.99 MSRP, this is the straightforward choice if you want Mario Kart World and would use the included 90-day Individual membership. Its Nintendo product page listed it as unavailable at the time this comparison was prepared, so check stock and the checkout total before deciding.
Choose Sports Resort if you prefer that game and can wait
The $529.99 bundle is scheduled for October 22, 2026. It includes a digital copy of Nintendo Switch Sports Resort and the same three-month Individual membership. If the motion-control sports game is your preference, the lower stated price may make this the better fit—but it is not scheduled to be available before that date.
#1 Best Overall
- The next evolution of Nintendo Switch
- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*
- GameChat** lets you voice chat, share your game screen, and connect via video chat as you play
Choose the limited-time offer if one of its three games suits you
At $499.99, the Choose Your Game offer lets you redeem one digital copy of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia. It is the least expensive listed bundle, but the offer is limited-time, subject to participating-retailer availability, and does not list a Nintendo Switch Online membership as an inclusion. Verify that the offer and your chosen title are still available.
Choose the standalone system if you do not want the bundle games
The $449.99 figure is Nintendo’s April 2025 launch MSRP, not a current market quote. If you would not choose any included game, compare a current standalone system price with the bundle’s actual checkout price and the separate price of a game you do want.

Is the Mario Kart World bundle worth it?
It can be worthwhile if you want Mario Kart World, value the 90-day Individual membership, and find the bundle at a checkout price that works for you. Nintendo lists the package at $549.99 and says it saves $37.98 against the separate MSRP prices of the included items; that calculation is not a promise of the same savings at every retailer. If you would not use the membership, or if another bundle contains your preferred game at a lower current total, the stated savings alone do not settle the decision.
What comes with the Nintendo Switch 2 bundle?
The game bundles add their named digital game to the Switch 2 system package. The Mario Kart World and Sports Resort bundles also include a 90-day Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership; the Choose Your Game offer instead includes a code for one of its three listed games. Nintendo’s system package includes the console, Joy-Con 2 left and right controllers, AC adapter, USB-C charging cable, dock, Joy-Con 2 grip and straps, and Ultra High Speed HDMI cable. The system has a 7.9-inch 1080p LCD screen and 256GB internal storage. A compatible microSD Express card is sold separately.

- Use other Pokémon’s moves, like Bulbasaur’s Leafage, to revitalize and navigate the world around you.
- Meet and befriend more Pokémon as you help nature flourish.
- Gather materials to create items and furniture, till the fields to grow delicious crops, build homes for the Pokémon you meet, and more—there’s so much to do!
- Experience a world with varied weather, real-time days and nights, and other surprises.
Nintendo describes TV output up to 4K with a compatible display and game, capped at 60 fps. Some Nintendo Switch games may not be supported or fully compatible on Switch 2, so check Nintendo’s compatibility information before buying a bundle for a particular older game. Internet access, a Nintendo Account, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership are required for online features; those requirements are separate from the hardware package. GameChat video features also require a compatible USB camera.
Quick Recap
How to compare bundle prices before checkout
- Pick the game first. Compare only bundles whose included game you would actually want. For the Choose Your Game offer, confirm the title you want is available for redemption.
- Decide whether the membership has value to you. The Mario Kart World and Sports Resort bundles include a 90-day Individual membership. The Mario Kart World product page says it auto-renews after the initial term at the then-current price unless canceled.
- Compare the same items and exact SKU. Check the retailer’s current listing, bundle name, game format, and membership inclusion. Do not compare a game bundle with a standalone console as if their contents were identical.
- Compare checkout totals. Include taxes and shipping, and use Nintendo’s stated savings only as a comparison against separate MSRP purchases. Retailer prices and actual savings can differ.
- Confirm timing and stock. The Sports Resort bundle is scheduled for October 22, 2026; the Choose Your Game offer is limited-time and while supplies last; and Nintendo listed the Mario Kart World bundle as unavailable when checked. Retailer availability can change.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
