Nintendo Music added the Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 soundtrack from Game Boy on October 15, 2026. The release gives Nintendo Switch Online members another way to hear music from the 1994 handheld platform game without locating original hardware or a cartridge.
What was added to Nintendo Music?
The new release is the Game Boy soundtrack for Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, listed in the maintained Nintendo Music release catalog with an October 15, 2026 date. The addition follows The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, which the same catalog dates to October 8, 2026.
Nintendo has not stated the number of tracks included in the Wario Land release. Until an official, dated listing provides that figure, any track-count claim would be unconfirmed.
Who can listen?
Nintendo Music is a smart-device app available at no additional app charge to Nintendo Switch Online members in the United States and Canada. Listening requires an eligible Nintendo Account, a compatible smart device and an internet connection. Availability can differ by country, so access outside those markets depends on Nintendo’s local service support.

How Nintendo Music works
Stream or download
Nintendo says listeners can stream songs directly in the app or download them to the app for offline listening. Offline downloads are useful when traveling, commuting or listening where a reliable connection is unavailable, but they remain an in-app feature rather than ordinary audio files that can be exported elsewhere.
Find music by several routes
The app can search by game title, track name, playlist or screenshot. Screenshot search is particularly useful when you remember a game visually but not the name of a specific song.

Why this release matters for Game Boy fans
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 is a Game Boy title, so its addition broadens the app’s coverage beyond newer console soundtracks. Nintendo described Nintendo Music at launch in 2024 as covering “nearly 40 years of Nintendo history.” Adding another handheld-era game supports that historical scope while giving listeners modern conveniences that the original hardware did not provide, including search, playlists, looping and offline playback.
The release also makes the music easier to revisit for people who no longer own a working Game Boy or an original copy of the game. The app is a listening service, however, not a replacement for playing the game itself: it does not provide the original cartridge experience or physical ownership.

Is Nintendo following a weekly release schedule?
The catalog places Majora’s Mask on October 8 and Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 on October 15, indicating additions on consecutive weeks. That pattern suggests an active release cadence, but Nintendo’s official launch announcement does not promise that new soundtracks will arrive every week. Future additions may come at different intervals.
