- For a story-driven RPG: Sea of Stars is the lower-priced sale pick, while Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a larger fantasy RPG and is listed as the Switch 2 Edition.
- For a group session: Big Walk is presented as a social game, though the source flags possible Switch 2 technical issues.
- For a new release: check the platform and launch date in the table before buying. The featured new releases span October 8 and 9, with Switch 2’s Minecraft date later in the month.
The release list and discounts are from Nintendo Life’s North American roundup by Ollie Reynolds, published October 8, 2026. Nintendo Life’s reporting is a useful snapshot, but the eShop listing is the place to confirm the current price, platform, and sale end time before purchase.
