Shipwreck Salvage is no longer available. The limited-time Neverness to Everness event ran from August 28, 2026, at 10:00 to September 30, 2026, at 05:59 (UTC+8). The instructions below explain how its farming loop, upgrades, and rewards worked during that run; they do not describe a currently playable activity.
How Shipwreck Salvage farming worked
During the event, players rode an event-provided jet ski to recover cargo lost from a ship. The goal was not merely to hook cargo: according to the event guide, cargo earned points and Drifting Bottles only after it was delivered to shore. Cargo still attached when the jet ski ran out of fuel did not score.
- Leave shore with an empty hold. An empty jet ski is lighter for the outward trip.
- Head out and collect floating fuel pickups. The guide recommends gathering fuel while traveling toward cargo.
- Harpoon cargo selectively. Cargo farther from shore was reported to tend to be heavier and higher rarity. If an item showed “Too Heavy,” the guide says the harpoon’s towing-weight limit was too low to move it.
- Watch the hold and fuel. Avoid taking on so much weight that the return trip becomes unsafe. The guide recommends dropping lower-value cargo when its weight threatens your ability to get back.
- Return to shore before fuel runs out. Delivery is what converts the haul into event progress and currency, according to the guide.

Which Shipwreck Salvage upgrades to prioritize
The guide places Mason, the upgrade NPC, near the beach launch point. It describes two upgrade tracks. Its recommendation is to improve Hull Performance first, then invest in the harpoon: speed, fuel capacity, and load capacity support longer or fuller trips, while harpoon range and towing weight help reach or haul more cargo. Treat this as a practical strategy from the guide, not a developer-confirmed best build.

NerdsChalk Staff’s 2026 guide reports a daily limit of 900 Drifting Bottles. The official announcement excerpt does not state that cap, so treat it as secondary-guide information rather than an official figure.
Event timing and the provided jet ski
Shipwreck Salvage was part of Version 1.3’s summer event lineup. The event announcement described a cargo ship losing its payload to the waves and invited players to race out on a jet ski to salvage it. The event supplied a jet ski for the minigame, so players did not need to own or obtain a separate watercraft to participate. NerdsChalk distinguishes this event vehicle from Tide, which it associates with a separate Lucent Tides Mystery Box event; that distinction is reported by the guide, not confirmed by the official announcement excerpt.
