What is known about the business context?
At Bloomberg’s 2026 Screentime event, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said, “Overall we’re not growing as fast as I want us to, and we’re working on making that move faster.” The Los Angeles Times also reported that viewing hours rose about 2% in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025, while content spending climbed over the same broad period.
