The NEFF S125HCS01A is a 60 cm N 30 built-under dishwasher with a useful set of programmes and options, but the public evidence does not establish how well it washes or dries in independent testing. Its published specifications make it worth considering if its dimensions, local availability and feature set suit your kitchen; they are not a substitute for a verified performance score.
What the S125HCS01A is
NEFF Australia identifies the S125HCS01A as an N 30 built-under dishwasher, not a freestanding model. Its listed dimensions are 815 × 598 × 573 mm (height × width × depth), and the finish is brushed steel with an anti-fingerprint treatment. NEFF lists a 4-star energy rating, 5.5-star water rating and 44 dB(A) noise level, along with heat-exchanger drying, AquaStop and Home Connect. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent measurements. NEFF Australia product information
The New Zealand specification sheet describes a regional configuration with up to 15 place settings, a FlexDrawer cutlery drawer and a RackMatic adjustable upper basket. It lists six programmes and five special options. Regional control-panel configurations can differ, so check the exact manual for the unit being sold rather than assuming every listed function appears on every sub-version. NEFF/BSH specification sheet
Does it fit under your counter?
Check the cabinet opening and installation instructions before buying. The listed appliance height range is 81.5–87.5 cm, width 59.8 cm and depth 57.3 cm. “60 cm” is the product class; the listed body width is slightly under 60 cm. Allow for the clearances, water supply, drainage and electrical connection specified in the installation document. NEFF/BSH specification sheet

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. - Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Confirm you are buying the built-under version and that the height range suits the available opening.
- Use the installation drawing for connection and clearance requirements; the overall dimensions alone do not establish whether the appliance will fit your kitchen.
- For service documents or parts, identify the complete E-Nr, including its suffix, from the rating plate. NEFF support material uses variants such as /48 and /58. NEFF support
Programmes and options
The New Zealand specification sheet lists Eco 45°, Auto, Chef, 1h, Glass and Favourite programmes; pre-rinse is set as the default Favourite. Its special options are Remote Start, Extra Dry, Power Zone, Speed and Easy Clean. The manufacturer also highlights Chef 70°C, ExtraDry and an adjustable upper basket. Exact names and availability should be confirmed against the local version’s manual. NEFF/BSH specification sheet
Choosing a cycle
The manual positions Chef 70° for pots, pans and non-fragile dishes with stubborn, burned or dried-on starch- or protein-containing residue. Auto 45–65° uses sensors for mixed, normally soiled dishes. Eco 45° is for normally soiled mixed dishes and cutlery; Glass 40° is intended for delicate tableware, temperature-sensitive plastics, glasses and stemware. The 1-hour programme is time-optimized. The manual’s laboratory table gives the following cycle values. They are test-table figures, not guaranteed outcomes for every household; water temperature, pipe pressure and other conditions can change results.
Recommended Free Tools
| Programme | Manual-listed duration | Energy | Water |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eco 45° | 3 hours 15 minutes | 0.650 kWh | 11 litres |
| Auto 45–65° | 2:00–3:10 | 0.980–1.550 kWh | 7.6–15.4 litres |
| Chef 70° | 2:30–2:40 | 1.400–1.500 kWh | 11.5–14.0 litres |
| 1-hour | 1 hour | 1.300 kWh | 10.5 litres |
| Glass 40° | 1:33–1:38 | 0.800–0.850 kWh | 12–14 litres |
Options that change consumption
Speed shortens programme time by 15% to 75%, depending on the selected programme, but increases water and energy use. Power Zone raises spray pressure in the lower basket and keeps the maximum programme temperature for longer, also increasing consumption. Use them for a specific load or time constraint rather than treating them as free upgrades. NEFF operating instructions

Easy Clean, also called Machine Care in the manual, is a maintenance cycle for grime and limescale buildup. Run it with the dishwasher empty and follow the manual’s care procedure; the cycle does not replace filter cleaning. NEFF/BSH specification sheet NEFF operating instructions
How much water and electricity does it use?
NEFF/BSH states 11 litres per Eco 45° wash with a cold-water connection. The same specification sheet gives 245 kWh per year based on seven Eco 45° washes a week under AS/NZS 2007.2 conditions. These are standardized manufacturer figures, not a prediction of an individual household’s bill; actual consumption depends on use. NEFF/BSH specification sheet

CHOICE’s accessible page identifies the S125HCS01A and shows claimed specifications including 4 energy stars, 245 kWh/year, 5.5 water stars and 11 litres. It also lists a two-year warranty and Germany as the country of origin. However, the expert rating, wash and dry scores, energy-efficiency score, noise result, programme time and test year are behind its member access. The public information therefore does not support a claim that this model tested well or poorly. CHOICE S125HCS01A review

For a meaningful comparison, look for independently published wash and drying results, tested water and energy use on comparable cycles, noise, basket flexibility, capacity, warranty and local service support. CHOICE’s public page does not expose the detailed scores needed to rate this model on those performance measures.
Availability, warranty and support
Availability depends on market. NEFF New Zealand marks the S125HCS01A as no longer available there, while NEFF Australia maintains a product-information page. Neither establishes current retailer inventory or street price, so confirm both locally before making a purchase. NEFF New Zealand product information NEFF Australia product information
CHOICE lists a two-year warranty, but warranty terms depend on market and sale date; confirm the current terms with NEFF or the seller. For manuals, installation documents, accessories and parts, search NEFF support using the full E-Nr suffix shown on the rating plate rather than the base model name alone. Verdict: a specification-led choice, not a proven performer
The S125HCS01A offers a flexible published feature set, a cutlery drawer, an adjustable upper basket, Home Connect and clear Eco-cycle consumption figures. It is a sensible candidate if the built-under dimensions and local terms work for you. But without public independent wash and drying scores, the evidence is insufficient to call it a top performer. Make the decision on verified fit, local availability, warranty and comparable test results—not on feature count alone.
