Raju founded Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd., the business that later became NCC Limited. NCC’s official overview identifies him as the company’s founder and chairman emeritus and describes the organization’s growth into a diversified construction and infrastructure group.
His influence continued through the next generation of management. NCC identifies managing director A.A.V. Ranga Raju as his son. The company says Ranga Raju learned from his father not to compromise on values, linking the founder’s personal principles with NCC’s stated approach to leadership.

NCC’s homepage attributes this statement to its founder: “At NCC, we follow the three fold path of hard work, tenacity and common sense.” The wording captures the operating philosophy the company publicly associates with Raju.

Raju’s principal institutional legacy is NCC’s transformation from Nagarjuna Construction Company into a broad infrastructure group. The company’s own account presents that development as a long-term expansion from construction into multiple infrastructure activities rather than a single-project enterprise.

It also records his work as a poet and author, giving his public profile a literary dimension that sits alongside his business career.

Raju was not only a founder whose company became a major infrastructure group; he was also the figure through whom NCC frames its history, values and succession. The public-respects notice in Jubilee Hills gives colleagues, industry peers and members of the public a place to acknowledge that role in person.
His recorded legacy combines institution-building, environmental concern and literary work. That combination explains why NCC’s own remembrance material presents him as both a pioneering industrialist and a literary figure, rather than limiting his contribution to corporate expansion.
