Naboo is positioning itself more clearly as a platform for corporate event procurement, but the 12% figure is not evidence that AI cuts total event costs by that amount. Naboo’s US homepage illustrates venue proposals with pre-negotiated rates 11–12% lower, while separately claiming almost 25% average savings on event spend. The company does not publish a calculation method or independent validation for either claim in the reviewed material.
What changed in Naboo’s positioning?
Naboo’s rebrand clarifies what the company does: it wants to be recognized for corporate event procurement, rather than primarily as a name associated with Star Wars. In its company article, Naboo describes the challenge of making its business category obvious. The evidence supports a clearer brand association, not a documented legal renaming.
The company presents itself as an enterprise platform for sourcing, managing, and tracking corporate event spend—not simply a venue-booking site or an event agency. Its pitch combines software, AI-assisted sourcing, and dedicated human support.

Naboo’s current US homepage shows sample venue proposals with pre-negotiated rates of 11–12% off. That is an example of venue-rate savings, not proof that AI reduces the full cost of a corporate event by 12%. Venue rates are only one part of an event budget, which may also include catering, production, transportation, and other services.

The same homepage separately claims almost 25% average savings on event spend. Naboo does not explain the calculation method or provide independent validation on the reviewed page. Readers should therefore treat both figures as company-presented claims, and distinguish the venue-rate illustration from the broader average-savings claim.
How Naboo says its event workflow works
Naboo describes a process that brings sourcing and purchasing administration into one platform. The goal is to help companies compare options while keeping budgets, approvals, and event spending visible.

- Track spend and approvals: The company says the platform consolidates spend visibility and approval workflows.
The published overview does not specify detailed geographic coverage, named ERP integrations, or the precise approval controls available, so those should be confirmed directly for a particular organization’s requirements.

Naboo says AI assists with repetitive work such as researching venues, comparing proposals, drafting communications, and keeping booking activity organized. Its guidance for planners emphasizes retaining control of the event brief, shortlist, and final decision.

CEO and co-founder Maxime Eduardo said in a company article published March 25, 2026, and updated October 1, 2026, that the technology can handle “close to 90% of the sourcing and research process.” This is an attributed company statement about process coverage, not an independently measured cost reduction. Eduardo also stressed the importance of confidence, quality, and attention to detail for high-stakes events.
What Naboo’s company figures show—and what they do not
In a February 2026 funding announcement, Naboo said it raised a $70 million Series B and reported $150 million in transaction volume, three consecutive years of threefold year-over-year growth, 0% churn among corporate customers, and a win rate above 90% for large-enterprise RFPs. Naboo also estimated the global corporate events market at $400 billion. These are company-reported metrics and a company market estimate, not independently verified performance findings.

Earlier figures describe a different period and business model. TechCrunch reported on January 28, 2025, that Naboo had €60 million in booking volume in 2024, an average take rate of 17%, and approximately €10 million in revenue. Those historical marketplace figures should not be treated as current results.
How to assess the savings claim for your company
If you are evaluating Naboo for an event program, ask for the details behind any projected savings before comparing it with your current process. A venue discount and a reduction in total event spend are different measures.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- Ask what the savings percentage is measured against: a quoted list price, your historical spend, or another baseline.
- Confirm whether the figure covers venue rates alone or the full event budget, including suppliers and fees.
- Request the sample size, event types, geography, time period, and calculation method behind any average.
- Check which suppliers and locations are available for your events, and whether the sourcing scope fits your needs.
- Review how human support, approval routing, payments, and spend reporting work in your organization’s workflow.
- Ask whether customer outcomes can be independently verified and how savings are reported after an event.
