There is no verified cheat-code list in the available official guide. For help progressing in Mystery Tales: The Twilight World, use its chapter-by-chapter walkthrough and jump to the place where you are stuck. It covers five chapters, from The Inn to The Boat, and provides solutions for puzzles that are not random.
Use the walkthrough for your current chapter
Big Fish Games’ official walkthrough, created in 2015, organizes the adventure into five chapters:
- The Inn
- Kevin’s House
- The Theater
- The House
- The Boat
Open the chapter matching your current location and follow its scene-specific actions, inventory combinations, and puzzle steps. The guide begins at The Inn and continues into Kevin’s House; its contents also identify the later chapters. Use the map in the game to travel quickly between locations.

The walkthrough gives answers for puzzles that are not random, so a sequence or layout may differ in a randomized puzzle. Read the instructions shown in the game and use those directions if the walkthrough’s steps do not fit what you see.

The guide also identifies hidden-object puzzles as HOPs. It does not include screenshots of those scenes, but it marks when a HOP is available and which inventory item you receive afterward. Follow the in-game scene rather than expecting a screenshot-based solution from the guide.
What “cheats” are available for each version?
The listings reviewed describe digital editions, not a separate cheat system. Steam lists a single-player PC Collector’s Edition developed by Domini Games and published by BFG Entertainment, released November 15, 2017. Its included features are a bonus game, soundtracks, screensavers, concept art, achievements and collections, and an integrated Strategy Guide. See the Steam listing for the edition details.

Apple’s US App Store lists an iPhone edition and an HD iPad edition by BFG Entertainment Inc. Both are described as free downloads with in-app purchases; their listings describe a free trial followed by a one-time payment to complete the adventure. Store availability and purchase terms may vary by region and can change, so check the current listing for your device: iPhone edition or iPad HD edition.
For the PC version, Steam’s listing gives minimum requirements of Windows XP/Vista/7/8, a 1.6 GHz processor, 1024 MB RAM, DirectX 9, and 1531 MB storage. It also says that the Steam Client requires Windows 10 or later starting January 1, 2024; check current compatibility information before installing on an older system.
