The MOZA AY210 with the MFY Yoke is a premium, PC-only flight-simulation control system built around strong, telemetry-driven force feedback rather than a conventional spring-centered yoke. Its headline specifications are 9 N·m of sustained roll torque, up to 210 N of pitch force, 150 mm of pitch travel and a full 180° roll range. The MFY handle adds a large set of configurable controls, but it is an accessory for a compatible MOZA base—not a standalone yoke. For serious MSFS, X-Plane or DCS users with a suitable cockpit or sturdy desk, it offers a more physical flying experience; its price, mounting requirements and PC-only support make it excessive for casual pilots.
What the AY210 and MFY Yoke actually are
The AY210 is the motorized force-feedback base. It creates resistance, centering forces and other control loads through dual motors, while the removable handle determines the available switches, triggers and auxiliary controls. MOZA describes the AY210 as delivering “9 N·m of sustained roll torque and 210N of pitch force across a full 180° rotation.” Those are unusually substantial figures for a flight yoke, where many products rely on passive springs or mechanical dampers.
The MFY Yoke is the compatible handle designed for the AY210 and AY90 bases. It does not replace the motor base and should not be treated as an independent USB yoke. A working setup therefore needs an AY-series base, the MFY handle (or another supported handle), a computer and the necessary power and USB connections.

AY210 specifications at a glance
| Specification | MOZA AY210 | What it means in practice |
|---|---|---|
| Force-feedback architecture | Dual-motor base | Active forces can change with simulator telemetry instead of remaining a fixed spring feel. |
| Sustained roll torque | 9 N·m | Strong continuous resistance; mounting rigidity matters because the base can apply significant twisting force. |
| Maximum pitch force | 210 N | High pitch-load capability intended to convey control pressure and aircraft behavior. |
| Pitch travel | 150 mm | Long fore-and-aft movement for finer pitch inputs. |
| Roll range | ±90° (180° total) | Provides a wide left-to-right control arc rather than a narrow center movement. |
| Computer compatibility | PC only | There is no stated console support. |
| Mounting | Direct cockpit or aluminum-profile mounting; optional desktop-clamp configurations | You can install it in a simulator frame or use a clamp arrangement if your desk can handle the load. |
These are manufacturer specifications from MOZA Support’s 2026 product information. They describe capability, not an independent laboratory measurement of perceived force, noise or durability.

How strong is the force feedback?
A sustained 9 N·m roll rating places the AY210 in a class where the mounting surface becomes part of the experience. A lightweight desk or an unsecured clamp can flex, slide or amplify vibration, masking the detail the motors are supposed to provide. A rigid aluminum profile or cockpit deck is the safer choice for regular high-force use.
The 210 N pitch-force rating and 150 mm travel also suggest a control that can communicate more than a simple centering spring: increasing aerodynamic load, trim changes, stall behavior and other simulator-generated forces can be represented when the title supplies appropriate telemetry. The specifications alone do not establish how accurately every aircraft or simulator models those effects, so treat the numbers as headroom rather than a guarantee of identical behavior in every module.

Control layout
- Two 8-way switches: useful for view, trim or autopilot navigation assignments.
- Two Hall-effect joysticks: suitable for cursor, camera, slew or other analog functions without relying on mechanical potentiometers.
- Triggers and additional buttons: provide quick access to frequently used commands.
- Magnetic DIY panels: allow the supplied or custom magnetic panels to be positioned for the pilot’s preferred workflow.
- RGB lighting: offers visual status or personalization, subject to software configuration.
“Up to 34” is a configurable-output ceiling, not a promise that every control will be useful in every simulator. You will still need to map functions, resolve duplicate bindings and decide which controls should remain on a throttle, button box or keyboard.
Mounting, ports and desk use
The AY210 supports direct cockpit and aluminum-profile installation. MOZA also lists optional desktop-clamp configurations, so desk use is possible, but the desk must be deep and rigid enough to resist the base’s torque. Measure clearance for the 150 mm pitch movement and ensure the clamp does not interfere with your knees or monitor stand.

The listed connections include power, USB, throttle, rudder pedals and panel connections. That layout lets the base serve as a central connection point for a broader cockpit, but the AY210 package should not be assumed to include a throttle, rudder pedals, clamps or aluminum-profile hardware unless the specific bundle says so.
Recommended setup sequence
- Choose the mounting method. Bolt the base to a rigid cockpit or profile extrusion where possible. If using a desk clamp, tighten it evenly and test for movement before applying high force.
- Install the MFY handle. Attach it to the AY210 according to the hardware instructions and confirm that the connection is fully seated.
- Connect power and USB. Use the base’s power and USB ports, then connect any throttle, rudder-pedal or panel accessories through the supported ports.
- Install MOZA’s current control software. Update the base and handle firmware if updates are offered, then verify that both devices appear correctly.
- Calibrate the axes. Center the yoke, set usable pitch and roll limits and check that the full 150 mm travel and 180° roll range are recognized without binding.
- Configure force feedback. Begin with moderate strength, confirm centering and telemetry effects, and increase force only after the mount remains stable.
- Assign simulator controls. Map pitch, roll, trim, view and MFY buttons in each simulator separately. Save a profile for each title or aircraft family.
- Test at low workload. Taxi, take off and perform gentle turns before using the strongest settings or complex aircraft modules.
Price and what you need for a complete cockpit
MOZA’s Canadian store listed the AY210 at $969 CAD on its 2026 product page. That is a time-sensitive regional listing, so current price, stock, taxes and shipping can differ. The figure is for the base listing; it should not be read as the total cost of a ready-to-fly station.
Best Value

Budget separately for the MFY handle if it is not included in the selected bundle, plus a throttle, rudder pedals, a desktop-clamp solution or cockpit hardware, and any mounting plate or profile components. The official connection list confirms compatibility paths for those accessories but does not establish that they are bundled with every AY210 sale.
Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- High stated force capacity: 9 N·m sustained roll torque and 210 N pitch force.
- Long 150 mm pitch travel and a complete 180° roll range.
- Native telemetry support is listed for MSFS 2020/2024, X-Plane 12 and DCS World without extra plugins.
- The MFY handle concentrates up to 34 configurable outputs, Hall-effect joysticks, 8-way switches and triggers in one unit.
- Flexible installation options for cockpits, aluminum profiles and selected desktop-clamp arrangements.
Limitations
- PC-only compatibility excludes console flight-sim setups.
- The MFY handle requires a compatible MOZA base and is not a self-contained yoke.
- High-force operation raises the importance of a rigid mount and careful calibration.
- The base price does not automatically represent a complete cockpit with throttle, pedals and mounting hardware.
- Independent long-term reliability figures, warranty-claim rates, measured operating noise and controlled comparisons with competing yokes have not been established.
Who should buy it?
The AY210/MFY combination makes the most sense for a dedicated PC pilot who flies often, values active control loading and already owns—or plans to build—a rigid cockpit. It is particularly compelling if you use MSFS 2024, X-Plane 12 or DCS World and want simulator telemetry to influence the yoke rather than relying on a fixed spring.
A casual player, a console owner or someone using a small flexible desk should start with a less demanding control system. The AY210’s force capability can be wasted if the mount moves, and the MFY’s many inputs require time to map and maintain.
Verdict
The MOZA AY210 is a serious force-feedback base whose headline torque, pitch force, travel and telemetry integrations are aimed at high-end flight simulation rather than entry-level gaming. Pairing it with the MFY Yoke creates a highly configurable control center, but the handle depends on the AY210 or AY90 base, and the complete setup costs more than the base’s listed $969 CAD regional price once mounting and other cockpit controls are included. Buy it for strong, active feedback and a long-term PC cockpit; skip it if you need console support, a compact desk solution or a ready-to-use all-in-one package.
