The Motorola Edge 70 vs Nothing Phone (4b) comparison is not a clean spec-for-spec contest yet: Motorola’s published figures here are for Mexico, while Nothing’s official pages confirm only selected Phone (4b) details. The Edge 70’s Mexico announcement lists a starting price of MXN 12,999 and highlights a slim design, fast charging and durability features. Nothing confirms a 50 MP main camera, 4K video and an 8+128GB India configuration, but does not publish enough information on the cited pages to establish a full head-to-head winner.

What is confirmed about each phone?

The strongest comparison is between confirmed manufacturer information, not every specification repeated by comparison sites. Motorola’s details and starting price below come from its Mexico newsroom announcement; they should not be assumed to describe every regional Edge 70 variant.

Nothing’s international Phone (4b) page and India product page confirm selected features, not a complete specification sheet. The India page displays an 8+128GB configuration. That does not establish the memory options or price in other markets.

Which phone is better for your priorities?

Choose the Edge 70 if its confirmed local version matches your needs

Motorola’s Mexico announcement makes the Edge 70 the more clearly specified option in this comparison. Its listed features include a 120 Hz, 1.5K screen, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, three 50 MP cameras, wireless charging and stated water, dust and durability protections. These are manufacturer claims, not independently tested results, and regional models may differ.

Motorola also advertises up to 38 hours of mixed use and up to 29 hours of continuous video. Those figures are the manufacturer’s stated results under its own test conditions; they are not a direct battery-life comparison with Nothing’s phone. Nothing describes Phone (4b) as having its “longest-lasting battery,” but the cited official pages provide neither capacity nor a shared test method.

Consider Phone (4b) if its verified local offer is stronger

Nothing’s official pages confirm a 50 MP main camera, 4K video, Nothing OS and Essential AI tools. The available information is not enough to judge its processor, display, full camera setup, charging or battery capacity against Motorola’s claims. If those factors matter, check the exact regional specification sheet and retailer listing before choosing.

Do not treat camera resolution as a photo-quality verdict

A 50 MP label describes sensor resolution, not the quality of everyday photos. The cited material contains no controlled camera tests, sample comparisons or hands-on evaluation, so it cannot establish which phone takes better pictures.

What is the price difference?

Motorola announced the Edge 70 in Mexico starting at MXN 12,999. That is a Mexico-specific starting price, not a global price, and the announcement does not make it directly comparable with a Nothing Phone (4b) price in another country. The cited Nothing product pages do not establish a current price.

Comparison pages may show marketplace offers, but prices, stock and configurations can change. For an accurate local price difference, compare listings in the same country on the same date and match RAM and storage, warranty, seller and any discount. The 91mobiles comparison and NDTV Gadgets 360 comparison are reference points, not substitutes for a current matching offer.

Why do published spec comparisons disagree?

Secondary comparison pages report different Phone (4b) details, including camera, battery and memory/storage fields. The 91mobiles and NDTV Gadgets 360 listings therefore do not provide a sound basis for choosing one disputed number as definitive. Prefer the manufacturer’s current specification sheet for your country and the exact model variant.

The same regional caution applies to Motorola: the Edge 70 figures cited here come from Motorola’s Mexico announcement. Confirm that the phone sold where you live has the same configuration before using those details to make a purchase decision.

What to verify before buying

  1. Match country and variant. Check the manufacturer’s regional product page and confirm the exact RAM, storage and model offered by the retailer.
  2. Compare local prices on the same day. Include currency, seller, stock status, warranty and discounts; do not compare a Mexico launch price with a listing from another market.
  3. Verify the specs that affect your use. Check display resolution and refresh rate, processor, camera configuration, battery capacity, wired and wireless charging, protection rating and software update policy on the local product sheet.
  4. Separate claims from tested outcomes. Motorola’s endurance figures are manufacturer claims, and the cited sources do not establish a shared battery test or a tested overall winner.
