Choose the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ if you want more camera options on paper, especially a dedicated 3.5× periscope telephoto. Consider the OnePlus Nord 6 if battery capacity is your priority: a comparison listing reports a larger battery, though that figure has not been confirmed here against OnePlus’ official specifications. Neither the camera specifications nor battery capacity alone establish which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use.
What sets these phones apart?
The clearest distinction in the available specifications is camera coverage versus reported battery capacity. Motorola’s India product guide describes a triple 50MP camera system for the Edge 70 Pro+, including a 3.5× periscope telephoto. NDTV Gadgets 360’s comparison lists a 50MP + 8MP rear camera setup for the Nord 6 and reports a 9000mAh battery. The Nord 6 figures are secondary-source data, not verified here against an official OnePlus regional product page.
| Comparison | Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ | OnePlus Nord 6 |
|---|---|---|
| Rear cameras | Triple 50MP system, including a 3.5× periscope telephoto, according to Motorola’s India product guide. | 50MP + 8MP, according to NDTV Gadgets 360’s comparison listing. |
| Battery capacity | 6500mAh, according to Motorola’s India product guide. | 9000mAh, according to NDTV Gadgets 360’s comparison listing; confirm with OnePlus for the relevant regional model. |
| Video and zoom claims | Motorola advertises 4K at 60fps recording across the cameras and 50× AI Super Zoom Pro. | Not sufficiently verified in official Nord 6 material available for this comparison. |
| Tested photo quality and battery life | Not established by a controlled head-to-head test. | Not established by a controlled head-to-head test. |
Which phone is the more versatile camera choice?
The Edge 70 Pro+ has the stronger case if you specifically want a telephoto camera. A periscope lens gives you a dedicated camera option for distant subjects, rather than relying only on the main camera’s crop. Motorola’s guide describes the phone as having three 50MP cameras and a 3.5× periscope telephoto; that is a manufacturer feature description, not an independent finding that its photos are better.
Motorola also advertises 4K 60fps recording across the cameras and 50× AI Super Zoom Pro. Treat those as feature claims, not evidence of comparable video quality or 50× optical magnification. The available information does not establish how the phones compare in image detail, low-light performance, stabilization, or video quality under the same test conditions.

Does the Nord 6 have a bigger battery?
On the listed capacities, yes: NDTV Gadgets 360 reports 9000mAh for the Nord 6, compared with Motorola’s published 6500mAh for the Edge 70 Pro+. The Nord 6 number is secondary-source data and should be checked against OnePlus’ official specifications for the exact country variant before relying on it.
Capacity is not the same as runtime. Screen-on time also depends on factors such as display settings, signal strength, software, and workload. No comparable battery-runtime test is established here, so the capacity figures do not prove which phone will last longer between charges.

What is not settled by the specifications?
- Which camera takes better pictures: the available information lists hardware and advertised features, but does not provide controlled, side-by-side photo testing.
- Which lasts longer: the listed battery capacities differ, but comparable endurance results are not established.
- Which offers better value: current, comparable prices and exact configurations are not established. Compare the same country, storage tier, and purchase date.
Which one should you choose?
Choose the Edge 70 Pro+ if camera reach matters most
It is the more straightforward fit if you want a dedicated periscope telephoto and value the broader camera system Motorola advertises. Make the decision for that hardware flexibility, not on an assumption that it has proven superior image quality.

Consider the Nord 6 if battery capacity is your priority
Its reported 9000mAh capacity is the reason to consider it for this preference. Verify the number for your regional model, and look for comparable runtime testing if endurance is the deciding factor; capacity alone cannot settle that question.

Sources and date context
Motorola’s India product guide is the source for the Edge 70 Pro+ camera and battery specifications and its advertised video and zoom features. NDTV Gadgets 360 is the source for the Nord 6 camera and battery figures above. A 91mobiles comparison published on 8 June 2026 places the phones in an India premium mid-range context, but that dated positioning does not establish current prices or availability. These listings are not a substitute for matched testing or current regional product pages.
